Fentons Run is a classic, rural retreat, perfect for larger groups. The original stables on this 100 acre horse farm have been cleverly converted into a spacious and unique home for 14 friends or family! The central hearth of the home has a large dining table, open plan kitchen, unique country decor and room for everyone! There is also a great outdoor entertaining and BBQ area, and good sized grounds for your gathering. Guests can also pat and feed the horses on the property.
The owners live next door, but well enough away from Fentons Run to ensure that you have good privacy.

Where will I be?
Fentons Run is situated in High Range, 15 kms along the Wombeyan Caves Road, to the west of Mittagong. It is a pretty area comprised of various wineries and working cattle or horse farms. The property is 100 acres in size, however guests only have use of the house paddock which is about 3 acres. Fentons Run has a classic rural setting, great stars at night and is in a quiet and peaceful location.

If you want to get away from it all, yet be right on the doorstep of the Southern Highlands, then Fentons Run is for you. In addition, as the property accommodates 14 guests and has plenty of space, it is a perfect gathering point for friends or family, and has an 11am check-out time. The home is casual, comfortable and relaxing. You will feel right at home!
How is the property laid out?
The house sleeps 14 across 6 queen bedrooms, and one bedroom that has 2 x single beds. The hallmark of the house is the massive open plan living, dining and kitchen area, seen in the photos. There are shared bathroom facilities, and a fantastic outdoor entertaining and BBQ area.
Wi-Fi, internet, Netflix or pay TV - will I have it?
Fentons Run does provide complimentary WiFi, but due to the rural location of the property, WiFi is not guaranteed by the owner or Property Manager. A WiFi password will be given to you in your pre-arrival information.
What about outdoors?
The house is located on a 140 acre property, but the house paddock where you will be staying is about 4 acres in size. Horses are sometimes located in the paddocks next door and the property has lovely rural views in most directions.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Fentons Run has a open fireplace for the cooler months and a reverse cycle air conditioner for warmer weather. All bedrooms have a stand alone fan. There is also a outdoor fireplace.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Fentons Run.
Toilet paper, kitchen soaps, guest soaps and some other supplies are also provided, but please be prepared to top up during your stay as needed. Regarding food, condiments and the like, please plan to bring everything you need. For safety and hygiene reasons, our houses generally do not supply food items.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is ample parking for guest vehicles. Some parking bays are covered, and some are in the open.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Please contact us regarding your pet. Fenton’s Run is pet friendly on request, at the owner’s discretion.
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, spiders and snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe and do work with a network of wildlife removal experts, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. If you do, we will use our best endeavours to have the animal removed or to make the property safe, however no compensation whatsoever will be paid for any disturbance caused by wildlife. You must book the property knowing that this risk exists, even though very uncommon.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: 2 nights
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
