Say Aloha to Bombora - a refreshed 1960s vintage beach shack centrally located just footsteps to Crooked River and Seven Mile Beach. Bombora is a great base to swim, surf, paddle or simply unwind and relax.

Where will I be?
Bombora is only a short walk to the sand of the Beach, in a location central to all of Gerroa’s attractions. Emery Park with swings, slides and BBQs is diagonally opposite and the popular Blue Swimmer Restaurant is just a few doors down. Gerroa is a superb base to explore the region, with the historic town of Berry, award-winning vineyards and National Parks all an easy drive.
Why choose Bombora?
Casual and relaxed, Bombora is an idyllic spot to revive and take in the coastal air with views across the River to the Beach. The house being situated above street-level lends the front deck as the perfect place to sit and enjoy the view with the opportunity to observe whales and birdlife. Bombora is set mainly on a single level; the second bathroom is up a few internal stairs. The main living areas (sunroom, lounge, dining and kitchen) and master bedroom are located at the front all with an open, leafy outlook to the water.
The open-plan living/dining area has a flat screen LED TV with DVD player, Bluetooth stereo, leather sofa and timber dining table. The sitting area, equipped with games and books, opens onto a terraced north-facing rear deck and garden. The well-equipped, modern kitchen features a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, oven and gas cook top. There is also an internal laundry with washing machine, dryer, washing tub, iron, and ironing board opening onto a sunny courtyard with washing line.
Note: the property has stairs, decks and is elevated from street level adult supervision of children is required.
How is the property laid out?
Bombora sleeps a maximum of 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms: 2 x queen and a bunkroom. The queen bedrooms both have built in wardrobes and ceiling fans. There are 2 modern bathrooms, one with a bath.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV - will I have it?
This property does have Wi-Fi. A username and password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house Wi-Fi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.
What about outdoors?
Bombora features a deck extending the front of the cottage, with a daybed, bench seat and gas BBQ making it the ideal spot to enjoy great views of the River and Beach. The rear garden is fully fenced with 3 level back deck areas with outdoor table and sun lounge. The warm outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off after a dip in the surf.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Windows are fitted with flyscreens allowing the rooms to catch the natural sea breezes. Reverse-cycle air conditioning in the main living area. Ceiling fans in the two queen bedrooms and a floor fan in the bunkroom.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Sheets, pillows, blankets or doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is on-street parking available at this property. There are plentiful, untimed spots in the immediate vicinity.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
