Harvest Moon Hideaway is set in the secluded hills of Joshua Tree. It is beautifully designed with an open concept kitchen, living and dining area for a cozy, intimate night-in with friends, family or friends becoming your chosen family. Whether you’re enjoying a sunset in the luxurious indoor soaking tub or warming up by the fire outside, you’ll truly feel like you’re in a desert dreamland. • THE SPACE There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 people; a queen bed in one room and 2 twin beds in the other room. •THE OUTDOORS The property sits on 2.5 acres views from every direction. There are 2 hammocks and comfortable seats to enjoy a fire. If you want to enjoy a meal in the fresh desert air, there is a grill and a picnic table as well. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE • Professionally managed by Property Manager • A/C Harvest Moon Hideaway is cooled by mini splits throughout the house and they are powerful air conditioners and heaters that will help keep the temperature enjoyable for your stay. • STAR GAZING For viewing of the night sky, it is best to keep all lighting to a minimum. This includes lighting inside the house that can bleed out the night sky. Moonless nights are of course the best. • PETS We love pets and allow them on site, please give us an advanced notice if you want to bring yours! The yard is not fenced and wild critters, snakes, coyotes, stray dogs and other desert animals freely pass through the property, please make sure your furry friends stay on a leash with you at all times so everyone has a relaxing and safe trip. • FIRE Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine. • ROADS The house is located on dirt roads and we recommend arriving in the daytime and navigating with caution. We will provide you with directions, do NOT follow gps. • IDENTITY VERIFICATION You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash- encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the terms listed above. Experience a private or small group session of kundalini yoga, meditation, and/or sound bath by private teacher and energy guide. Reiki energy alignment sessions also available.
