Sleeping up to six guests, 2 The Mount is a spacious and welcoming two storey holiday home. Located close to some of Whitby’s most famous attractions, the property is within walking distance of all that the town has to offer, including the whalebones and West pier. You’ll have full access to the property during your stay which includes three bedrooms, an ensuite bathroom, two separate bathrooms, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, living and dining space, plus private on-site parking.
2 The Mount has a spacious kitchen with modern appliances including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave, oven, hob and washing machine. The grey, shaker style kitchen cabinets are ultra stylish and the high shine surfaces create a real sleek look within the space.
Also sharing this space is the living and dining area so it’s great for socialising and unwinding with your loved ones. The dining area features a table and matching dining benches. Boasting a comfortable corner sofa and a TV, the living area is bright and homely.
You’ll find two bedrooms and a Jack and Jill shower room on the same floor. The first bedroom boasts a king size bed and the second bedroom sleeps two guests with twin single beds.
In the basement, you’ll find the third bedroom which is a king bedroom with an ensuite shower room complete with a WC and basin.
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to 2 The Mount are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your stay.
Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle. Pay and display parking is available nearby for guests staying with more than one vehicle.
Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at 2 The Mount per reservation.
You’ll find restaurants, pubs and shops just in a short walk from 2 The Mount.
Whitby train station is nearby so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
