Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the kitchen includes modern amenities and cookware so you can prepare delicious home cooked meals during your stay. The dining area at Rose Cottage is a cosy space with a large wooden dining table and two benches.
Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll find the master bedroom and family bathroom. A tranquil space, the master bedroom has a neutral colour scheme and soft furnishings. A king size bed, wardrobe and two bedside tables complete the room.
Modern and clean, the family bathroom features a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and basin. There is also a washing machine in this room.
Take the stairs again and you’ll reach the second bedroom. With sloped ceilings and exposed beams, it’s a really cosy space. Ideal for teenagers and solo members of your group, there are twin single beds. All of the beds at Rose Cottage have premium bed linens and plush bedding to ensure you have a comfortable night’s sleep.
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a key safe box, details of which will be provided prior to your stay.
Private parking is available for one vehicle.
Please note the second bedroom is up steep stairs and may not be suitable for elderly or those less physically able.
Pickering has great bus routes with journeys to York, Malton, Thirsk, Helmsley, Whitby, Scarborough and Leeds.
The nearest mainline railway station can be found 8 miles away in Malton with routes to Scarborough, Manchester and Liverpool amongst others.
Rose Cottage is located just a short 6-minute walk to Pickering Rail Station where you can experience the infamous North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The station is a must see with a 1930s theme, so you’ll be transported back in time to the steam era. From here, you can travel to popular destinations such as Whitby, Grosmont and Goathland.
