The Buttercup is a one-of-a-kind 2 bedroom 2 Bath home and is your perfect getaway in the mountains. This cabin is a warm and cozy gem located in the lovely Highland Lake community in Flat Rock. The community affords quiet and safe areas to take a morning stroll, or a sunset walk-about! Only 10 minutes to downtown Hendersonville and around 30 minutes to downtown Asheville! With a screened in front porch overlooking the Garden Hamlet you’ll love your surroundings. Inside you will be greeted by a tastefully decorated cottage with country charm, while incorporating some of today’s latest technology including WIFI and two flat panel televisions. The fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living area are sure to provide perfect space to gather and create memories. The cabin faces inward toward a meadow filled with goats and flowerbeds and gardens. You are right in the middle of the beauty and serenity. Seasons restaurant a stone’s throw from the front door. The Park at Flat Rock is less than a mile from the house, with walking and running trails, and an expansive playground with nearby picnic tables. Book your stay today, but be warned, we’re pretty sure you’ll never want to leave!

Quiet Policy: Please note that the property is located in a quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.
Pets: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. Last Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional verification, including selfie/photo of government-issued ID matching the reservation name, and photo of payment method in the primary guest’s name. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
