The Otis is more than just another Atlanta building—it’s an experience. Nestled in the neighborhood’s main entertainment corridor, The Otis combines historic character with modern design, brought to life with the creative influence of one of Castleberry Hill’s own former residents, designer and television personality Ty Pennington. An Atlanta native and graduate of the Atlanta College of Art, Pennington is best known for his work on Trading Spaces and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. His artistic touch is found throughout the property, with custom pieces of artwork displayed not only in the residences but also in the gallery-style common areas.
The name “The Otis” pays homage to the historic elevator manufacturer that once occupied the site. The preserved façade still proudly bears the company’s logo, offering a unique nod to Atlanta’s past while embracing the city’s vibrant present.
For those looking to elevate their stay, we’re thrilled to offer an add-on culinary experience with Registered Dietitian and Private Chef D’Nae of DNA360’ Kitchen. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to enjoy a relaxing evening in, Chef D’Nae brings a five-star dining experience directly to you.
Parking is effortless—your rental includes one space in the covered and secured garage (7’ clearance). Free public parking is also available in front of and behind the building. If you need extra parking, additional spaces may be purchased upon request, based on availability.
We want your stay at The Otis to feel completely effortless. You’ll have as much—or as little—interaction with us as you prefer. Some guests value total privacy, while others appreciate local tips and recommendations—we’re happy to provide either. No matter your preference, we’re always just a message away. For the fastest response, please use the platform messenger, which guarantees delivery and ensures we can assist you right away. Whether it’s dining suggestions, directions, or help with anything in the condo, we’re here to make your stay seamless.
Located just south of Downtown Atlanta, Castleberry Hill is a vibrant, creative, and historic neighborhood with a character all its own. Once home to early 20th-century warehouses, the district has transformed into a thriving community of dramatic lofts, galleries, restaurants, and shops, all while preserving its strong historic identity.
Recognized on the National Register of Historic Places since 1985, Castleberry Hill represents the most complete surviving warehouse district in the city. The neighborhood’s roots run deep—its railways shaped the streets and buildings, Atlanta’s first horse-drawn trolley line once served its residents, and after the Civil War, it became home to tradespeople who supported the city’s growth.
Today, Castleberry Hill is culturally diverse, artistic, and full of energy, offering both a glimpse into Atlanta’s past and a taste of its modern renaissance. With walkable access to downtown attractions, easy highway connections, and public transportation nearby, it’s the perfect place to stay, explore, and experience one of Atlanta’s most unique communities.
You’ll have full access to the entire condo—the space is completely yours, so settle in and make yourself at home.
Self Check-In is simple and secure. Guests can enter through either the front entrance or the rear garage doors, both equipped with smart keypads. Prior to arrival, you’ll receive a unique code that will unlock all exterior entry doors, including the garage, so you can come and go with ease.
For your unit, you’ll be given a separate auto-generated code that will remain active for the entirety of your stay, ensuring both convenience and security. All access is powered by Point Central software, making the process seamless and completely keyless.
Sunlight drifts across exposed brick and reclaimed wood floors as the rhythm of downtown begins outside your windows. Inside, the loft feels grounded and intentional - a calm retreat where open space, layered lighting, and warm textures create an easy flow for gathering or unwinding. In the cooler season, the city air turns crisp, making evenings indoors especially inviting after a day exploring Atlanta.
The space
Set within a recently completed Castleberry Hill development, this loft accommodates up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 1.5 baths. The primary bedroom is generously sized and includes an en-suite full bathroom for added privacy. The second bedroom is a semi-private flex space with an attached half bath - it does not have a door, making it ideal for flexible sleeping arrangements or a relaxed lounge setup. The open loft layout balances shared living with defined sleeping areas.
Kitchen & dining
At the heart of the home, the kitchen is designed for both everyday meals and longer stays. A center island anchors the space, complemented by Jenn-Air stainless steel gas stove and oven, along with a full kitchen setup and dining table. Whether you’re preparing breakfast before heading out or settling in for a quiet dinner, the open flow between kitchen and living area makes it easy to stay connected.
Comfort & convenience
WiFi and a dedicated workspace support remote work or extended visits. In-unit washer and dryer, heating, air conditioning, and ceiling fans provide year-round comfort. Self check-in with a smart lock ensures smooth arrivals, and housekeeping is available at an extra cost. Long term stays are allowed for 28 days or more.
Building amenities
The building offers elevator access and one free parking garage space on premises, along with free street parking nearby. A shared rooftop lounge provides city views and a peaceful place to step outside, while a shared patio or balcony and shared BBQ grill - electric - add additional communal gathering areas. Exterior security cameras are located in common areas, elevators, and entry doors, with none inside the condo.
Neighborhood
Located in historic Castleberry Hill, former warehouses now house galleries, restaurants, and shops woven together by a strong sense of history. Downtown attractions are within walking distance, and nearby highways and public transportation make getting around straightforward.
Perfect for couples, small groups, business travelers, or extended stays, this character-filled loft pairs flexible living with easy downtown access.
Getting around is easy and convenient. The condo is located just 3 blocks from the CNN Center MARTA Station, giving you direct access to the airport and the rest of Atlanta. For those flying in, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is only 10 miles away, about a 15–20 minute drive. Prefer rideshare? Uber and Lyft are always less than 5 minutes away and very reasonably priced.
