Surrounded by rolling hills and scenic countryside, this charming and rural finca offers an idyllic setting, inviting you to unwind in the sun and spend a relaxing break with friends and family.
Situated in the high mountains of Andalucia, Ronda Oasis is a traditional rural property accessed by a sweeping driveway lined with towering cypress trees. Steps lead up to the entrance, where the typical whitewashed building extends over one level, wrapping around a central courtyard where a broad tiled roof overhangs to create a shaded patio.
Well presented, the interior has been thoughtfully decorated, with neutral tones complemented by inviting furniture and rustic features that offer a sense of warmth and character. The main living room is found in the middle of the house, where a comfortable seating area is positioned beside the fire with several sofas and armchairs that invite you to relax with a book, whilst a generous dining table sits off to one side. Double doors give access to the terrace, and a corridor leads through to the kitchen and additional larder room, which is fully equipped for preparing meals throughout your stay.
There are five bedrooms in total in the main house, each neatly arranged with stylish decor, and all enjoying plenty of natural light through large openings that look out onto the garden and landscape outside. The main suite is extremely spacious and offers a wonderful private bathroom, whilst one of the rooms is found at the far end of the house, where a private entrance and kitchenette are perfect for offering independence to additional guests. Nearby to the main house is also the annexe, including 3 double bedrooms for up to 6 guests. This newly-constructed building is a great option for larger groups who’d like a bit more privacy during their stay! Please see the T&Cs for more information...
Several doorways open out onto the terrace, which extends away from the house, opening up to sweeping views over the wonderful countryside and nearby mountains. A shaded patio area is dotted with potted plants creating a lovely spot for outdoor dining, and bohemian lanterns hang above the table, making an ideal setting to enjoy an atmospheric evening entertaining guests in the fresh air. Carefully landscaped, the terrace is surrounded by regional shrubs and swaying palms, and a mix of chairs and benches dot the property, offering you to find a quiet spot to sit beneath the trees and soak up the peaceful setting.
Tucked to the side, a charming outbuilding shelters the first pool, perfect for enjoying a refreshing swim, whilst to the far end, a series of loungers invite you to soak up the sun and can fall asleep to the delightful sound of the fountain nearby. A new feature added is the stunning second pool, which basks in the sun and is surrounded by grass. The perfect spot to lounge and swim in the sun, whilst enjoying some beautiful panoramic views.

Location:
Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, Ronda Oasis enjoys a wonderful rural setting, with splendid views stretching over the nearby countryside and majestic Serrania de Ronda. Situated on the edge of the natural park, there is plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the outdoors, with multiple hiking trails and adventure activities nearby.
With mountains on either side, the area is popular with walkers, and there are many well-marked routes that invite you to explore the rural landscape. Enjoy a leisurely stroll passing through the rolling farmland, or take a more challenging ascent up to the summit of Torrecilla, located at the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. The path winds through pine forest and across a stony plateau, and from the top, you can enjoy spectacular views down to the sea and coast of North Africa.
The sunny climate makes the area ideal for growing, and the surrounding hills are covered by vineyards. Just a five-minute drive from the villa, the Morosanto Winery offers tours of its estate, and you can learn about the historic process of making wine, as well as taste some of its finest collections. Alternatively, a short drive away, the ancient town of Ronda makes for a wonderful day out. Divided by a dramatic gorge, the historic settlement is perched atop El Tajo and was once an important cultural centre of mosques and palaces during Islamic rule. Wander through the cobbled streets to discover the mix of architectural styles, or cross over the Puente Nueve and look down to the canyon floor, a staggering 120m below. You can also visit the Iglesia de Santa Maria La Mayor to see its elegantly decorated interior or stop off at one of the local tapas bars to enjoy a tasty bite to eat. The town’s restaurants make the most of the region’s abundance of produce, and there are plenty of spots to sample traditional cuisine. Restaurante Almocabar is a charming spot, with a delicious selection of hearty stews during the winter, whilst, during the summer months, the terrace invites you to relax against the backdrop of the Moorish Puerta de Almocabar gate.
A visit to Andalucia may not feel complete without a swim in the sea, and with the golden coastline just an hour away, it is easy to spend a day on the sand. The popular blue flag beach of San Pedro de Alcantara features a lovely stretch of beach, flanked by a lively promenade where you can join locals for a stroll whilst taking in the sea air. Enjoy a swim in the lovely blue water or opt for one of the many water-sport activities on offer. There are also several chiringuitos which are perfect for grabbing a bite to eat or enjoying an ice cream in the shade. Plenty of beaches can be found up and down the coast, with the glamorous Puerto Banus to the north where you can stroll the marina and admire the grand yachts and sailboats, whilst the vibrant city of Marbella is also nearby, brimming with lovely urban parks, art galleries and a joyous Mediterranean culture.
