Between 1965 and 1983, celebrity performers for the Sahara Tahoe Hotel & Casino stayed at the Home of the Stars as guests of the hotel. Although Elvis Presley had a private suite at the Sahara, other stars preferred the tranquility and spectacular panoramic views offered by the home. Today, as a private residence, guests can experience a little bit of history. Three spacious levels define Home of the Stars. The six bedrooms are contained on the upper-level with a dry sauna to soothe the body after an exhilarating day on the slopes. Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House Rules

- No parties or events
- Keep noise to a minimum after 9pm
- No engaging in illegal activities
- Please remove shoes while in the house
- No pets unless specified, there will be a separate Pet Fee charged after booking for pet-friendly homes
