White Mountain Chalet
The most classic of New Hampshire settings awaits at this two-story condo at Christmas Mountain, gorgeously positioned with a sweeping view of the peaks. After a day spent skiing, hiking, or exploring Story Land, come home to enjoy a cozy gas fireplace and your very own billiard room.
This scenic spot between Jackson (three miles north) and Bartlett (six miles south) is wonderful for adventures in every season. Story Land - a favorite among families for over 65 years - is one mile south. When it comes to skiing, you’ll find the slopes of Black Mountain, Attitash, Cranmore, and Wildcat all within 13 miles. This is also a wonderland for hiking, swimming in nearby lakes, taking fall foliage drives, and outlet shopping in North Conway (seven miles south).
As you step inside this bi-level condo, you’ll be greeted by lofty ceilings of natural wood and two walls of windows framing the sparkling mountain view. On summer days, step out onto the deck to light the electric grill for a sunset dinner. Throughout the snowy winter, curl up on the sofa, toast your toes by the fireplace, and find a favorite movie to watch on cable or streaming.
Prepare meals with ease in the well-equipped kitchen, sit down for dinner at the table by the window, and spend the evening hours shooting pool in the billiard room upstairs. The condo is also especially well-suited to families with children, offering such bonus features as a crib, a high chair, kids’ games and toys, a baby monitor, and a stacked washer/dryer and three recently installed A/C minisplits .
