Other notable parks include Maria Hendrikapark, the Japanese Garden, and Leopoldpark for a chance to see varied and diverse natural beauty. If you’re a sucker for sunsets, plan a relaxing evening with your S.O. at nearby beaches such as Bredene Strand, Strand Oostende, or if you don’t mind a bit of a longer drive, Hondenstrand for magnificent views that will sooth your soul. On warmer days, you can engage in fun sports like kite surfing, beach volleyball, swimming, and more! *Historical Attractions* Discover the historical significance that Oostende has served over the years, from the times of the Napoleonic era all the way up to the first and second world wars. Plan a visit to Fort Napoleon – built during the time that France occupied Belgium, or Atlantikwall Raversyde – an outstanding site featuring over 60 restored bunkers and weapons/artillery used by the Germans to fend of the allied invasion during WWII. We also recommend visiting the Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, a neo-gothic catholic church built in 1905 with soaring spires and beautiful stained glass windows.

Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House rules
- SuitableForChildren,SuitableForInfants,No pets - sorry, fido has to stay home.
- No abundance of noise after 10PM, mind the neighbors.
- No parties, no outside visitors, no overnight guests without previous approval from the host.
- Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property.
- This applies to both drugs and internet activity.
- If you break or damage something, please let me know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
- No smoking - also don't discard your cigarettes in the house trash cans. They get stinky.
