Christmas Cottage is a lovely self catering cottage in Chapel Stile village, near Ambleside, in the heart of Langdale – the heart of the Lake District and a walkers delight.Apart from the large vaulted living room, which the dining area overlooks, there is a modern kitchen, a family bathroom, and three bedrooms (two doubles and a twin); great space for 6 guests, with a contemporary feel. The master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom. Outside there is terraced space around the cottage and a seating area to enjoy in the warmer weather. along with parking space for 2 cars. I may not be available in person during your stay although we do have an office based in Elterwater, where our staff will be on hand to help with any enquiries you may have. A 5 minute walk from the local pub, Wainwrights Inn where you’ll find a host of real ales and home cooked foods. A short walk from Langdale cooperative store who stock a wide range of supplies and gifts or a short bus ride away from The Sticklebarn Tavern, now owned by the National Trust. Within 5 minutes walk from our local bus routes to Great Langdale and back towards Ambleside.
