Beck Steps, Elterwater

Beck Steps as the name suggests is right by Langdale Beck just after it has passed under the bridge in Elterwater. A recently refurbished property that sleeps up to 8 across 3 double rooms (2 of which are ensuite), and 1 twin. There are 2 sitting rooms with log burners, the lower sitting room just outside 1 of the double bedrooms. The property has been decorated to a high standard, and the open plan kitchen and dining area has a bright and airy feel about it. Beck Steps has lovely views from the front towards Elterwater, and benefits from an outside terraced area with a table and benches for those summer evenings and a bit of alfresco dining. There is ample off-street parking for up to 3 cars, and if you are National Trust members you can park for free in the National Trust Car park close by. Alternatively our Property Manager Office is located in Elterwater and staff are on hand to deal with anything you need. Elterwater is a very picturesque village in the heart of the Lake District and boasts one of the best local pubs, The Britannia Inn, as well a lovely little café. Just a short walk away is the Eltermere Inn, where you can enjoy a fine dining experience in gorgeous surroundings. There is a bus stop in the village, which you can easily access Chapel Stile and Great Langdale, as well as Ambleside.
