Villa Gembira is a charming and cozy, traditional Balinese 2-bedroom home, nestled in a rural area in the happening South of Bali island, just a short drive from central Seminyak and even closer to the more quiet beach of Batu Belig. Villa Gembira features a tropical open-plan living room that overlooks the villa’s tranquil koi-fish ponds. In the back of the property sparkles a private crystal clear swimming pool, accompanied by a large alang-alang roofed balé where you can enjoy drinks together or laze the day away with a good book while a refreshing dive in the water of the pool is just a few just steps away. The perfect peaceful little oasis you need to unwind completely with your loved ones. Larger traveling groups, have the option of renting villa Gembira together with its neighbor Villa Senang, turning it into Villa Sembira, a 6 bedroom holiday haven. A teak wooden gate leads into the lush green garden of Villa Gembira, surrounding the traditional open-concept living pavilion. At the entrance there is a grassy lawn where kids can play and a walk along the peaceful pond with colorful koi fish leads, past the living room, to the main garden where an inviting private swimming pool glisters. The ambiance here is so peaceful and tropical, that you will fall in love with this charming holiday home instantly. Around the pool there are two sunbeds, shaded by a ceremonial Balinese parasol and there is also a large family-size gazebo to sit and enjoy drinks together in the ambiance of your own peaceful oasis. The combined living and dining room is elegantly designed with a high soaring roof, traditional hand-carved furniture and tribal artwork. In the front there is a built-in white sofa to lounge on, tucked with blue pillows. In-villa meals can be enjoyed at the beautifully designed dining table with glass-topping on a natural stone structure and a fully equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms of Villa Gembira flank the sides of the living pavilion. Ornamented doors lead from the veranda into the restful master suite that boasts a stunning king-size bed draped by a white mosquito net. Before sleep you can watch a movie on the large flat-screen TV with DVD-player in the comfy intimate setting of your own bedroom, perhaps after a long relaxing bath in the open-air en-suite bathroom, beneath the pergola roof, surrounded by greenery. The second bedroom features a king-size bed, configurable into twin beds upon request, for maximum flexibility. This room also comes with air-conditioning, a mosquito-net, a flat-screen television and a walk-through dressing-room that leads to the wonderful Balinese garden-like en-suite bathroom.
