Home details
Situated in the historical region of Galicia, Spain, Finca Garcia is a uniquely beautiful three-bedroom property set within lush private grounds and featuring all of the amenities and luxurious touches you’ll need to enjoy a relaxing and memorable holiday.
The interior of the villa is stylish and elegant, with heavy, wooden-beamed ceilings and areas of exposed stonework for a wonderfully rustic feel. The villa’s spacious lounge area is welcoming and cosy - the ideal spot for curling up together at the end of a busy day. The space is complete with high-quality, antique furnishings, including sumptuous sofas and armchairs, handsomely-crafted wooden cabinets and a coffee table, and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV for your entertainment.
This wonderful open-plan room incorporates areas for dining, with solid wood dining tables, perfect for enjoying intimate meals, and leads through into the villa’s well-equipped kitchen space. Reminiscent of a traditional farmhouse kitchen, with a stone basin and rustic wooden touches, you’ll find everything you need here to cater to you and your guests during your stay, including an oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge-freezer, and plenty of cookware, crockery and utensils. Rustling up delicious feasts for the whole family is a joy, with ample food preparation and storage space so that everyone can get involved without getting under each other’s feet.
Finca Garcia’s bedrooms are elegant havens of relaxation, featuring the same traditional, rustic decor as the rest of the villa. The main suite has a double bed and benefits from an en-suite hydromassage shower, and there are two equally spacious bedrooms with twin beds - ideal for the kids. For larger family groups, there are two extra single beds available, taking the villa’s capacity up to eight guests, and it is perfect for families who all want to share a room for comfort and convenience. Guests not staying in the main suite share the use of a shower, as well as a separate guest toilet.
The grounds of the villa have a wonderful ’secret garden’ vibe, making Finca Garcia the perfect accommodation for those who want to truly get away from it all. A beautiful river runs through the gardens, and you’ll find plenty of cosy areas to sit and relax with family and friends. Alfresco dining is made possible thanks to the villa’s two stone barbecues and porch area, where you’ll also find a football table for enjoying some friendly after-dinner competition. The icing on this storybook-style property is its private pool, accessible by both stainless steel ladder and Roman steps, making it easy for guests of all ages to get in and out of the water with ease. After a busy day of lounging by the pool and taking in the stunning surroundings, be sure to crack open a bottle or two of the delicious local wine that is made on the same property, sit back, and enjoy the glorious sunset in this little slice of holiday heaven.

Location:
Finca Garcia is located next to the town of Vilagarcia de Arousa, an area famous for its port and extensive beaches. A vibrant and modern place to visit, with many-a-corner that reflects its past, Vilagarcia de Arousa offers a delightful mix of old and new, including Ravella square with its town hall built in the style of an old French mansion, century-old gardens filled with banana trees and its beautiful parish church, all nestled alongside modern shopping boutiques, pubs and restaurants.
You’ll find plenty to do here in this unique town and its surroundings, including leisure pursuits such as golf and tennis, fishing, walking, cycling, and even hunting. The marina is well worth a visit during your stay, with plenty of nautical sports taking place here, including local regattas. The marina is also home to a number of restaurants, pubs and bars, serving up everything from light snacks to three-course meals. Even with so much else on offer, it’s the region’s beaches that have visitors flocking here, with many having received Blue Flag awards and featuring excellent facilities.
Concha-Compostela is perhaps the best-known beach here and is popular with locals and holidaymakers alike thanks to its soft, clean sands and clear waters. During the summer months, there are lifeguards on duty here, making it a good choice for young families, and you’ll find good amenities such as showers and toilets, bars, cafes and shops. If you’re looking for somewhere a little more peaceful, Preguntoiro beach is a good choice. This sheltered stretch of sand is just as well-serviced as Concha when it comes to amenities and also enjoys the added bonus of being within walking distance of the promenade and all it has to offer - including a children’s playground.
The Galician region is famous for its delicious cuisine, and guests staying at Finca Garcia will be delighted to discover that one of the best restaurants in the Rias Baixas is situated just metres from the villa. We recommend visiting this traditional-style eatery, which features a beautiful garden for alfresco dining. The menu here is really varied, so it should be easy to find something to suit all tastes, with offerings including local shellfish dishes, Galician-style fish casseroles, and delicious meat dishes served with Galician potatoes and asparagus.
