Grandma Dorothy’s Cottage

Welcome to Grandma Dorothy’s Cottage, a family and dog friendly getaway. The covered front porch overlooks Crescent Park, which offers an indoor swimming pool, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, soccer play field, and community fire pits. Centrally located, it is a few minutes walk to the downtown area for shopping and restaurants or to the farm district with its playground, dog park, and tennis & pickle ball courts. One block away is Creek Beach Promenade trailhead, a forested path that leads down to the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The home has been recently redecorated to be warm and inviting for families. The living room has a gas fireplace for chilly evenings and a Smart TV for watching your favorite shows on Netflix or Amazon. There is a selection of games, toys, and children’s books in the living room sideboard. The dining table can comfortably seat 6 to 8 and there is room for several more at the kitchen bar. The kitchen overlooks the dining room so the cook will not miss out on any of the fun. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops and includes all the pots, pans, dishes, utensils, & small appliances you need to cook your favorite meals. The cottage can sleep a total of 8 guests. The downstairs has two spacious bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a king bed. The room with a king bed has a Smart TV and a desk that is perfect for checking emails or working remotely on your laptop. Between the downstairs bedrooms is a full bath and there is a washer and dryer in the hall closet. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a king bed and a twin daybed with a second twin bed in a pullout trundle. There is another Smart TV, a large walk in closet, and a full bath with double sinks. Our dogs love the cottage’s backyard and we are sure you will, too. The large fenced backyard has a gas barbeque, deck with picnic table, and private fire pit that is perfect for S’mores. There is an outdoor hose for washing off sandy paws after a walk on the beach. Inside, your dog will find dog beds, bowls, and lots of dog toys.
