BEACH ACCESS You have several beach access points from Compass House, one of which is the famous Pangas Restaurant, a delightful Guanacaste fusion bar/restaurant set in the sand where the estuary meets the ocean. You can access the beach from here during working hours and make this your starting point for walks along the beach into the town of Tamarindo where you will experience the energy of this lively beach town. LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS • It’s 0.3 miles (550mts) to the beach • A short 10-minute drive from the Tamarindo Airport • 1h drive from the Liberia International Airport • Just a quick drive down the hill places you in the middle of the buzzing energy of Tamarindo. Please allow us to recommend renting a 4x4 vehicle during your stay. The road up the hill from the beach is not paved and can be tricky to navigate, especially in the rainy season.
