La Fira usually occurs on the second Sunday in November and continues to the following Tuesday.   Pollensa Museum is one of the finest tourist attractions in the area and can be found just over 10 minutes away from the villa. Despite now being known for its vast collection of prolific pieces, it was once used as a simplistic storage unit. During this time, this establishment housed an assortment of ornate Gothic altarpieces, which managed to gain a tremendous amount of critical acclaim. These pieces even received praise at the prestigious Summer Exhibition of Painting, which took place in the 1960s. Nowadays, it is seen as one of the most popular galleries in Europe, making it a pivotal place to visit if you wish to uncover the mysteries of this area.   If you are looking to embark on a truly riveting sightseeing experience, a trip to the Alzinaret Caves is a must-do activity. These caves were first uncovered by British archaeologist Wilfred Hemp in 1927, but in reality, these structures date all the way back to 1600 BC, emphasising the region’s far-reaching history. As a result, guests are free to explore the intricacies of these structures as they marvel at a plethora of well-preserved artefacts from the Middle Bronze Age. There is even a range of benches outside of the caves for those who do not feel comfortable travelling inside. The Alzinaret Caves are based just under 20 minutes away from Villa Vaumera.
