Nestled in the stunning countryside of the Brecon Beacons, just a stone’s throw from the market towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery, Ynyswen Cottages is a cosy Salt & City Stays retreat for the whole family. The cottages offer a modern finish with rustic features, stained glass panels (made by Lesley, the owner), a cosy log burners and expansive gardens. If you enjoy hiking, stargazing, cycling or bird watching, this is a perfect base, with lots for all ages to explore.
Lovingly built by the owners themselves over 3 years, the high level of detail and care taken over these properties layout is obvious. Sleeping up to 12 guests. Things To Know
Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House rules
- Please be aware that one cottage is pet friendly and the other is not. If you would like to bring a dog, please ensure you request this in advance of booking. Strict pet rules apply.
- Ynyswen Barcud - Dog Rules
- A pet fee of £25 will be applied.
- The following dog rules apply:
- 1. Maximum of 2 dogs at any one time are
- welcome.
- 2. Dogs must be under strict control at all times
- while in the property
- 3. Any fouling must be cleared up without delay;
- bags are provided & there is a dog poo tub in
- the shed.
- 4. Dogs must not be left alone or unsupervised in
- or at the property at any time.
- 5. Dogs are not allowed upstairs at all. A stairgate
- is provided.
- 6. Dogs must not be allowed on the furnishings.
- 7. We can supply a large dog crate to use if you
- want?
- 8. Dog hair must be cleared up before departing,
- there is a vacuum cleaner in the utility room.
- 9. Dog owners must ensure that their pets are free
- from parasites and fleas before they occupy the
- Property. Failure to do so may incur subsequent
- charges.
- 10. You will be liable for any damage caused by any
- guests' dogs. - Any damage is to be reported to
- the Owner immediately. Any additional cleaning
- required, that may incur an additional charge,
- will be at the Owner's discretion.
- 11. Ynyswen is surrounded by sheep, please keep
- your dog(s) under control at all times.
