Suave interiors, scintillating with swathes of glass and enhanced by masterly design, are the secret to this home’s success. Perched right on the cusp of leafy Wandsworth Common, one of South West London’s most picturesque pockets, and only moments from Wandsworth Station, with its speedy links to London Victoria; staying here means having your cake and eating it. And if that doesn’t sound indulgent enough, maybe the games room will change your mind...or the cinema room...or the gym. We thought so.
A chic palette throughout, featuring fresh tones with dusky blue contrasts, ensures this home impresses from the get-go. A lofty, modernist living room and kitchen is accentuated by an expert use of light. That vast kitchen island and the table overlooking the garden make dining in infinitely more appealing. The living room scores high on the feng shui scale with its understated glamour and symmetrical design, as does the TV room, where smokey accents and Greta Garbo introduce a little Hollywood mystique to this comfy chill out corner. Our two favourite bathrooms are marble-styled masterpieces, and its up to you whether you prefer the peach tones and elliptical bath tub of the principal ensuite, or the aquamarine shades and walk-in shower option. The six bedrooms are all bright and airy, with special mention going to that principal suite, with its effortless elegance, illuminated by stylish bay windows and topped off with its own marble fireplace.
We love...
The garden is delightful, with plenty of space for the kids to play, and a great spot on the patio for the grown ups to enjoy a glass of wine. You’ll also be so close to the leafy trails and cosy coffee shops of Wandsworth Common, that a refreshing stroll or two will easily become part of your routine. And if the weather’s rubbish? Not a problem — there’s a spacious games room and a well-equipped gym at your service.
Home truths:
No smoking, pets or parties! The TV in the living room retract into a cupboard (genius). You’ll find a washing machine and dryer in a separate laundry room. The games room includes a ping pong table.
Please note, Property Manager homes are lived-in homes, which we think adds to their charm! Guests should, however, expect to find homeowner belongings and personal items within the property.
