Welcome to Lakeview! This mountain home has views of Different Drum Lake in the private development of Little Bavaria in Valle Crucis.
This 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom cabin with loft sleeps up to 12 guests.
The Master king bedroom suite is located on the main level. It features a smart flat screen TV, and private bath with soaking tub and shower. The master bedroom is on main floor for easy access to family room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast area, laundry room, porch and deck. Family room has wood burning fireplace, Large L-shaped couch, flat screen 65" LCD (LED) Smart Ultra HD TV with Sound Bar (great for playing music and entertaining, cable, and plenty of outlets to charge phones and tablets.
Kitchen is fully equipped and laundry room has full size washer and dryer, there is also a ½ bath on the main floor for guests. Spacious covered porch and wrap around deck with gas BBQ grill, outdoor furniture and plenty of seating to enjoy the views of the lake!
Upper level has 1 bedroom with a Queen bed and a full bath plus an open loft with flat screen TV and Twin over Full bunk bed and an additional second closet make this the perfect hangout for kids!
Lower level has 3 bedrooms with Queen beds and a shared full bath, second family room with flat screen TV, pool table and gas stove.
You will find a second large covered and uncovered deck leading down to a very large fire pit area, with several Adirondack chairs and picnic table, equipped with all weather bluetooth speakers which are great for entertaining in all seasons. Lower deck has a large hot tub, additional seating and a swing!
Good access year around, near horseback riding trails, and near historic Original Mast Store, the Mast Store Annex and Valle Crucis park. Cabin is just outside of Boone (10-15 min to Downtown Boone & Appalachian State University-great for visiting college football fans). Convenient location to many Ski resorts (great in all seasons) and quaint nearby towns. Thirty minutes or less to Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Appalachian Ski Mountain Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Just 45 minutes to Watauga Lake-great for boating in summer.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- This home is pet friendly and allows up to 1 dog. Pet rent is $25+tax per night. Mature, well-trained dogs only.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- Guests returning to Lakeview will receive a repeat discount. Reach out for more information!
- 4WD or AWD vehicles are recommended November-April.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers, crock pots or storage containers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- ALL of the guests staying in homes that are in Little Bavaria are allowed to fish on the lake in the development. Because that lake is in a private community, they do NOT need fishing licenses to fish in it, however, it is catch and release ONLY.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
