Malasaña is a dynamic student area with cafes, bakeries and vintage clothing stores. The gastronomic offer of the neighborhood is very complete and varied. We can find numerous classic taverns where you can enjoy a refreshing beer accompanied by your usual tapa. The terraces are another of the protagonists of this area. In the evening, live bands and DJs perform in trendy dance and rock music venues. The Conde Duque Cultural Center exhibits works of art and shows open-air films in its 18th-century halls and patios. The main focus of shops is located on Calle Fuencarral. This street, pedestrianized for much of its route, presents numerous popular youth and sports fashion firms. Along with these we can find other establishments specializing in alternative fashion, retro fashion, tattoos, etc. From the apartment it is possible to visit most of Madrid’s places of interest on foot: starting a route from Plaza de Callao, you can walk to Puerta del Sol, have a tapa in Plaza Mayor and from there explore the neighborhoods of La Latina y las Letras until reaching the Prado Museum. It is the perfect apartment for a leisure or business trip.
