Arrábida is a neighbourhood located in the western part of Porto, Portugal, and is known for its modern architecture and lively atmosphere. The neighbourhood is home to the Arrábida shopping centre, which offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and a cinema. The area is also home to several large hotels and conference centres, making it a popular destination for business travelers. In addition, Arrábida has a large park, Parque da Cidade, which offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Overall, Arrábida is a vibrant and diverse neighbourhood that offers something for everyone.

Payment and Cancellation - 14 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.

House Rules

  • → A security deposit of 500€ will be requested upon arrival (credit card only)
  • → The refund of the security deposit might take up to 14 working days (it varies depending on the type of card/country) after successful inspection of the apartment
  • → As per Portuguese regulations, I will be required to ask for every guest's passport details upon arrival for immigration and borders control purposes
  • → Late check-in fee of 25€ applicable after 9PM
  • → Late check-in fee of 30€ applicable after midnight
  • → Losing the apartment key will incur in a 100€ penalty
  • → No smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house and on the property. Guests who wish to smoke must do so outside and dispose of their cigarette butts in the designated outdoor ashtray
  • → No parties or events: Parties, events, and gatherings of more than the maximum allowed guests are not allowed without prior approval from the host. Any unapproved events or parties may result in immediate termination of the reservation and eviction of guests
  • → No loud noise or disturbances: Guests must respect the neighbourhood and refrain from making loud noise or causing disturbances, especially during the nighttime quiet hours. Any violation of this rule may result in immediate termination of the reservation and eviction of guests
  • → No pets: Unless approved in advance by the host, pets are not allowed inside the house or on the property. Any violation of this rule may result in additional cleaning fees and immediate termination of the reservation
  • → Keep the house clean and tidy: Guests are expected to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the house during their stay. This includes cleaning up after themselves, doing their dishes, and keeping the common areas neat and organized
  • → Respect the property and furnishings: Guests are expected to treat the house and its furnishings with respect and care. Any damage to the property or furnishings may result in additional fees and charges
  • → Check-in and check-out times: Guests must adhere to the designated check-in and check-out times unless approved in advance by the host. Any late check-outs or early check-ins may result in additional fees and charges
