Once you set foot in this spacious townhouse, you’ll know you have arrived in the ideal location. The living room offers casual yet comfy seating, and the sofa folds out to a double bed. Beach photos and sea turtles adorn the walls, making it easy to switch from a city to a seaside mindset. A large smart TV provides entertainment at your command.
Step through the sliding glass doors to a private outdoor space. A glass-topped table with seats for six is great for al fresco meals in the freshening sea air, and you can recline in the sun when the hammock is free. There’s even a gas grill where your group can cook up communal dinners.
The contemporary kitchen borders the living room, making it easy to converse with others in your group during meal prep and cleanup. We make sure to fully stock the drawers and cupboards of all our vacation rentals Tybee Island GA with all tools you’ll need, from dishes to cookware. Full-sized built-ins like the refrigerator-freezer, range-oven and overhead microwave conserve space while preserving a sleek profile. There’s even a breakfast bar for two where you can grab a snack or savor a rich cup of java.
A dining table and chairs are steps away for more formal meals. One of the full bathrooms is just down the hall. It features elegant marble styling with a luxurious glassed-in shower.
When the time comes to wind down, both bedrooms upstairs offer generous sleeping accommodations. In the first bedroom, there is a king-size bed, a chest of drawers, a nightstand, and double closets that provide plenty of room to store your luggage and stow your clothes. There’s also a TV and whole-house Wi-Fi.
The second bedroom features a queen bed, a dresser adds ample space for your belongings, and a TV provides late-night viewing options. The adjacent bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Occupants get a bird’s-eye view of the neighborhood from the upper balcony too.
We also provide convenient amenities like a washer/dryer, an iron, a hair dryer, bed linens and a supply of towels at our Tybee Island vacation homes. Lazy Hammock offers two dedicated parking spaces if you’re bringing your car.

About the area
Tybee Island, Georgia, is a serene coastal retreat that beckons travelers with its picturesque beaches, rich history, and relaxed Southern charm. Located just 18 miles away from the historic city of Savannah, Tybee Island offers a tranquil escape with a distinct character that complements its urban neighbor.
The island's main attraction is undoubtedly its five miles of sandy beaches, which are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and a host of water sports. The South Beach is the most popular, with the Tybee Pier and Pavilion providing a focal point for fishing, people-watching, and enjoying the ocean breeze. Meanwhile, the North Beach is known for its quieter atmosphere and is an excellent spot for collecting seashells and spotting dolphins.
Tybee Island's iconic lighthouse, the Tybee Island Light Station, is one of the most intact lighthouses in the nation and has been guiding mariners safe entrance into the Savannah River for over 270 years. Visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of the island and the Atlantic Ocean.
History enthusiasts will appreciate Fort Pulaski National Monument, where the Union Army successfully tested a rifled cannon in combat in 1862, marking a turning point in military history. The fort offers daily interpretive programs, historic weapon demonstrations, and scenic trails.
For those interested in wildlife, the uninhabited Little Tybee Island is a nature preserve that's accessible only by boat. It's a haven for birdwatching, kayaking, and camping, with its undisturbed marshes and tidal creeks.
