The serene waters of Lake Champlain come right up to your lawn at this beautifully situated lakefront home in North Hero. The Green Mountains are also wonderfully scenic, allowing you to immerse yourself in all that nature has to offer. Enjoy your own stretch of beach along the lake each day.
This home sits on an expansive piece of grassy, waterfront property, with east-facing views of Knight Island framed by the trees. You’ll be right next door to Shore Acres Inn & Restaurant, and a scenic drive or bike ride from Knight Point State Park, North Hero State Park, and Grand Isle State Park.
Begin each morning outside on the wraparound deck, where you can sip your coffee, crack open a novel, and watch the sun come up over the lake. On the side portion of the deck, you’ll find a gas grill and an outdoor dining table - a gorgeous setting for an afternoon barbecue between swims.
As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by glass doors on three sides of the living room, bringing in lovely natural light and views of the lake. Flip pancakes in the kitchen, sit down to enjoy them at the dining room table, and peek through the telescope to observe the local waterfowl. In the evenings, you can curl up by the wood-burning fireplace, watch movies on the TV and VCR/DVD player, or even sit down at the desk to catch up on a few emails. Of the two bedrooms, one is a lakefront primary suite with a walk-in closet and direct access to the deck.
