Enjoy the luxury of this beautiful country house that comfortably sleeps large groups. Wander the gorgeous garden, or spend your time relaxing with a book in front of a roaring fire in one of the stylish reception rooms. Guests can also make the most of the summer sunshine with a dip in the large private pool, or merely lounge around its edge and enjoy the peace and tranquility that surrounds you as birds chirp in the trees.
The Whistler’s Perch, in the village of Southend in Buckinghamshire is an enchanting place for large groups looking to make memories in a magical peaceful location surrounded by rolling countryside and an abundance of wildlife.
The stylish property has been beautifully designed and decorated to match its idyllic surroundings. Inside you’ll find seven spacious bedrooms and seven bathrooms arranged across two properties, the main house and the annexe. The bedrooms are furnished in a comfortably relaxed style with lots of light, space and warmly textured fabrics, you can’t fail to drift off to a peaceful night’s sleep in such a restful environment.
Meals can be prepared in the fully fitted kitchen which features an induction cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, coffee machine and toaster. There is also a separate utility area, great for your muddy boots and pets.
For a special occasion have the option to hire a private caterer to create for those special dinners which can be enjoyed in the open plan dining room.
On rainy days, guests can relax in the magical orangery or either of the four living areas. The main living area is a cosy lounge with wonderfully comfortable armchairs and sofas positioned perfectly in front of the wood burner.
For fun for all the family there is a games room which has a pool table, table tennis and football table. And if that isn’t enough to keep you entertained if you fancy some fitness you will be spoilt for choice with equipment in the home gym.
The house is a perfect spot to relax in the sun, have a dip in the pool and enjoy a BBQ as the sun sets. As the garden is fenced, it’s ideal to let your furry friend run free.

We welcome well-behaved adult dogs; however, puppies and very young dogs are not allowed. Please note that they must not be left unattended at the property at any time. Please note that there is an additional £50 charge per pet.
If you are up for exploring you’ll be spoilt for choice for walks and cycle routes in the Chiltern hills and charming nearby villages. There is a fantastic biker’s cafe within close walking distance of the property that is a great pit stop for walkers, they serve hot food, cakes and drinks.
