Walk the manicured grounds lined with lush tropical greenery, papaya trees, and local tropical flowers, enjoy the community oceanfront swimming pool and gas BBQ grills, or have some adventures with onsite complex beach access. This condo provides beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, and binoculars for whale watching (when in season) for added fun!

Hono Kai Complex:
The 3-story Hono Kai complex has direct access to over six miles of white sandy beach just steps from the manicured resort grounds perfect for swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, sunbathing, and surfing at times. In a brief 13 min walk (0.7 mi) via Hauoli St, you can enjoy the Maalaea Harbor, the Maalaea Harbor shops, Maui’s Ocean Center Aquarium, the Maui Golf and Sports Park, and much more.
The oceanfront pool is located just a wall away from the glistening waters of the Hawaiian ocean. Enjoy watching turtles and sealife playing in the waves, including whales, depending on the season (December- mid-April) while sitting or swimming at the pool or grilling at the community BBQ station. There are several lounge chairs and a public wash-off station just outside the pool for use at your convenience before residing back in your Maui hale (home). Each floor is fitted with laundry facilities offering 2 quarter-operated washers and 2 dryers. Please NOTE there is NO elevator access. The trash and recycling bins are located in a walled area in the northwest corner of the parking lot (roadside).

For an epic adventure away, guests will appreciate Hono Kai’s close proximity to the Maalaea Boat Harbor (0.7 mi, about a 13-minute walk or 3-minute drive) offering several ocean excursions with world-famous sailing, snorkeling, sportfishing, and whale watching.
