Our 4 bedroom, 4 bath home is located just across highway 550 from Purgatory Resort and is 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less than a 30 minute drive).
Enjoy the convenience of being adjacent to Purgatory Ski Resort, yet have the privacy and additional space of a house with a two car garage. The resort is both an amazing winter playground, and offers a wealth of all your favorite mountain activities in a cool and comfortable summer climate at 8,900 feet in elevation. For ease, there is a free on-demand shuttle to the ski resort.
The home backs up to national forest land and is located near the Purgatory Flats trail head, one of the finest and most scenic hikes in the area as well as a small stocked lake for fishing and a playground and in winter, there is a cross country ski trail within walking distance.
The home is perfect for multiple families as it features 2 separate living spaces and all of the expected amenities of a high end vacation rental including fast WIFI, Washer/Dryer, TVs in each bedroom as well as both living spaces, a private hot tub, gas fire pit on the back deck, foosball, a ping pong table in the garage and fully stocked kitchen. And while not needed very often, the home does have central AC for those occasional warm summer days.

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 1 dog (Less than 50 pounds) and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).
4WD is NOT required in winter as access to the home is via paved roads..

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
