La Quercia’s three apartments and detached holiday home sit in a residential wooded area 1 km from the centre of the spa town of Sassetta. The modern Tuscan style apartments each have a great outdoor area for grilling in the cool evening breeze and steep steps down to the furnished swimming pool terrace. Often La Quercia’s guests stroll to the relaxed Sassetta village to experience the hot springs or to explore the shops, bars, and restaurants. Sightseers and walkers may want to head into the deep green hills that run up to the Caselli nature reserve stopping to sample the slow pace at the ancient hilltop town of Monteverdi Marittimo and Canneto or head across to the Bolgheri wine region at 17 Km for an early evening wine tasting. Seaside lovers will want to head 16 Km down to the beach clubs of Marina di Castagneto Carducci for over 30 Km of beach, looking out to Tuscan’s archipelago, while no doubt the younger ones will want to go for a ride at the Cavallino Matto amusement park in the village.
