Step off your back deck, cross the dune grass, and you’ll be on the beautiful, broad expanse of Rockaway Beach. This oceanfront home sits on the north side of Rockaway, just a few houses from Manhattan Beach State Recreation Site. Downtown’s restaurants and sweet shops are about two miles south, with scenic golf courses and the Garibaldi Marina within a 10-mile drive. The house boasts a setting you won’t soon forget, as well as gorgeous outdoor spaces for enjoying it. After a day of surfing and beachcombing, play cornhole on the lawn, relax in Adirondack chairs on the covered back deck, and use the gas grill and picnic table to set up a sunset dinner overlooking the ocean. The same incredible view awaits inside, with a back wall of picture windows framing the Pacific. Enjoy two separate living rooms - both with TVs and views of the beach - connected by an open, well-equipped kitchen with every essential. In the evenings, leave the day’s swimsuits to spin in the washer/dryer, watch movies on cable and Blu-ray, or retreat to the desk in the den downstairs to log onto the complimentary WiFi. Of the bedrooms, two are on the lower level and a primary suite is upstairs on the main floor. THINGS TO KNOW Check-in at 4 p.m. Check-out at 10 a.m. 2 dog(s) are welcome in this home.
