Eel House cottage is located along the stunning rural road which takes you up to Esthwaite Water from the Estate. Enveloped in rolling green fields with lambs and forestry, the property offers you the chance to get away from the buzz of the city life and experience true silence and serenity in the great countryside.
The Cottage offers two bedrooms upstairs, with the Master having its own en-suite with walk-in shower, and a twin looking out across the fields and beyond. Downstairs is the living room with smart TV and log burning stove to curl up after a long day out exploring, with the kitchen and dining area just in the next room.
Sit back and relax in our woodland inspired cottage after a long day on the fells in front of a crackling log fire.

Payment and Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
