Villa Kalamia is a stunning villa which is located in an idyllic area above Kalami beach and the picturesque port of Kouloura (landmark of the region), on a hillside, with unsurpassed sea and sunrise views, a sunny private pool, fully air-conditioned bedrooms and not so far from the local amenities and the spectacular beaches. This attractive villa is spread over two levels, has beautiful terraces and balconies that offer breathtaking views, many spacious common areas, and it is ideal for a family or party of 8 people. The access from the private parking leads to the main entrance, which opens into an open plan space (supported by a fan) with a beautiful lounge, dining, and fully fitted kitchen, on the house’s upper floor, which also provides a family shower room. In the front part of this space, there is a huge balcony with a panoramic view of Kalami bay below, the straits between Corfu and Albania, and the option of enjoying incredible sunrises. A side door leads to the left side terrace where the private swimming pool (4.5 x 8.5 m) has been cleverly placed, also accessible from the lower floor via stone-built stairs. An internal staircase connects the upper level with the ground floor, which consists of 4 bedrooms with excellent front balconies offering unsurpassed views of the bay and the open ocean. Two of the bedrooms are double with en-suite shower rooms (one is the master bedroom), while the other two are twins and share a family shower room, where the property’s laundry is also installed. The sunny swimming pool is located on the left side of the villa, it is surrounded by stone terraces, and provides also views of the sea as far as the town of Corfu in the distance. Near it, there is a built BBQ for anyone willing to try his cooking skills and dine al-fresco. Villa Kalamia is located in a quiet area, on a hillside, far from the noisy resorts, but only a breath away from them, such as Kalami, Agios Stefanos, and cosmopolitan Kassiopi. It is ideal for a morning walk in the mountains to enjoy the magical moments of the sunrise from the opposite Albanian coast, for mountain climbing, or for absolute relaxation in the virgin Corfu nature.

About the area
Kassiopi, a charming village on the northeastern coast of Corfu, Greece, is a picturesque destination that offers a delightful blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. This former fishing village has transformed into a vibrant holiday spot while retaining its traditional Greek charm.
One of the main attractions in Kassiopi is its stunning harbor, where visitors can enjoy leisurely walks along the waterfront, admiring the array of boats and yachts that dot the clear blue waters. The harbor is also lined with a variety of tavernas and cafes, perfect for sampling local Greek cuisine or sipping on a refreshing ouzo as you watch the world go by.
History enthusiasts will appreciate the ruins of the ancient Kassiopi Castle, which dates back to Roman times. The castle's remnants are perched on a hill above the village, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area and the Albanian coast. Exploring these ruins is not only a journey through history but also provides an opportunity for some stunning photography.
For beach lovers, Kassiopi boasts several pebbly beaches with crystal-clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The most popular among them is Kalamionas Beach, which is well-organized with sunbeds and umbrellas for hire. The more secluded Bataria and Kanoni beaches are just a short walk away, offering a quieter atmosphere for those looking to escape the crowds.
The village itself is a maze of narrow streets filled with shops selling local handicrafts, jewelry, and olive wood products, making it a great place to pick up souvenirs. At night, Kassiopi comes alive with a modest but lively nightlife scene, where visitors can enjoy live music and dance in the bars and clubs.
Nature lovers can venture out on hiking trails that wind through olive groves and cypress trees, leading to secluded coves and offering breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. Boat trips are also available, providing the opportunity to explore the scenic coastline and visit nearby secluded beaches and caves.
Kassiopi's blend of natural beauty, historical significance, and modern amenities make it an ideal destination for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. Whether you're looking to delve into the past, relax by the sea, or experience the warmth of Greek hospitality, Kassiopi is a gem that promises a memorable holiday.
