Nestled at the base of the Glade Trail, just a short walk (or snowshoe) to downtown Government Camp, this cabin is the perfect base for all your outdoor adventures. As soon as you step inside, walk through the laundry room and you’ll be greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance of the wood-burning fireplace and cozy furnishings. Once in the main space, you’ll find a full bathroom to the left. The open-concept living area, with its vaulted ceilings and large windows, provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forests. After a day on the slopes, there’s no better way to relax than by sinking into the hot tub and watching the snowfall. With room for 16+ guests, this spacious home offers plenty of room for your whole group to spread out and unwind. The central portion of the home features a staircase leading to the four bedrooms and a loft sleeping space, providing plenty of privacy and comfort for everyone. The primary bedroom with Mountain views and its king-sized bed is the perfect retreat after a long day of skiing. Of the Guest bedrooms, one offers a king-size bed, the other a queen. The fourth guest bedroom has a King and a Twin-over-Double bunk bed. In the Main House loft area, ideal for kids over the age of 10 and teens there is a Queen bed, five Twin floor mattresses, and one double. Bedroom four has the door leading into bedroom five which is located in the adjoining apartment. The fifth bedroom has a layout of a Queen and a twin-over-Double bunk bed. In the apartment you will find a full kitchen, a small living/dining area, and a full bathroom with the second ladder leading to another loft sleeping area where you’ll find a Queen and two Twin Floor Mattresses. This makes it a great option for families or groups who want a little extra space. *If you are planning on using the loft sleeping area please note that you will need to climb ladder stairs maintaining 3 points of contact at all times and climb down the stairs backwards. We do have a gate at the top of each ladder stair to prevent accidental falls but this space is not recommended for children under the age of 10, or anyone with mobility issues. The fully equipped kitchens and large dining tables make meal prep and family dinners a breeze. With stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of cookware and utensils, you’ll have everything you need to whip up a gourmet feast. The cozy living areas are perfect for movie nights and game nights, with comfortable seating and large flat-screen TVs. And for those who want to stay active during their stay, the garage offers endless entertainment options, including a CrossFit gym, an electronic basketball game, and sleds for the whole family to enjoy. And if you’re traveling with your furry friends, this pet-friendly cabin welcomes up to two dogs with prior approval and payment of a pet fee. The nearby trails and forests are perfect for long walks and hikes, while the fenced yard provides a safe and secure space for your pets to play. Please note that the property has exterior-facing security cameras onsite, pointed exclusively to the driveway, and unable to see inside the home or hot tub.
