Modern town house by the sea with one parking space!
Tucked away on a calm Mews Street just across the road from the sea, this 3 storey town house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 6 guests. There’s a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave, a dining table, living room with Smart TV plus a small balcony and small terrace. Stroll to the beach or to Kemptown for cafes and shops, or walk along the seafront to the centre of the city, or head down to the Marina.
The Space:
A modern house that’s been newly decorated throughout - it has a fresh and clean feel. Fully equipped and fully furnished with everything you will need for a weekend break or a longer stay.
We provide fresh white linen and plenty of towels for all guests. We also provide guest toiletries, cooking basics and plenty of tea, coffee and sugar so please help yourself.
Set over 3 floors, you will find the following:
GROUND FLOOR
Open plan living room / dining space and kitchen. Fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and microwave, there’s plenty of cookware, cutlery, crockery and glassware. This is a welcoming social space where you can cook, eat, relax and chat with friends or family.
There’s a sofa and a couple of cosy arm chairs in the living area with a Smart TV.
Off the kitchen is the small downstairs terrace. At the front there is one parking space for a small car, directly in front of the house.
FIRST FLOOR
Here you will find 2 of the bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a single bed and hanging space for your personal items. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and also some personal storage space. The main bathroom is on this floor.
SECOND FLOOR
Up on the second floor is the master bedroom with double bed, plenty of hanging space for your clothes and an ensuite shower room. This bedroom also has access to a small balcony.
On a scenic Mews Street, just behind one of Brighton’s iconic sweeping Crescents with stunning architecture, the house is within walking distance to everything the city of Brighton has to offer. It is across the road from the sea, close to Kemptown with independent coffee shops and cafes and an easy stroll into Brighton for more shops, culture and night life.
Guest Access:
Guests have the entire house privately to themselves for their entire stay.
Interaction with Guests:
The local team at Property Manager are on hand 7 days a week, 10am until 8pm, to ensure you have a great stay!
The Neighborhood:
Just seconds from the seafront in a residential corner, this is the perfect location for a relaxing seaside break. The iconic St James Street of Kemptown, with all of its shops, restaurants and independent bars on your doorstep. We particularly recommend Pizzaface for amazing takeaway pizza, the Real Patisserie for bread and pastry, Ground for the morning coffee fix, and the Black Dove for evening cocktails.
The famous North Laine area just a 10-15minute walk away, and is a hub of independent shops and eateries and an amazing spot for people watching. You can also explore The Lanes and get lost in the maze of winding streets, with its array of jewellery shops, cafes and pubs.
The Brighton Centre is a easily walkable along the seafront, and just a little further along is the i360, which is worth a visit on a clear day with its stunning panoramic views of Brighton and the coast.
The Cultural Quarter which boasts Brighton Pavilion, Brighton Dome, the Museum & Art Gallery, and the Theatre Royal is also just a 10 minute stroll from our flat.
Getting Around:
Walking is the easiest way to see Brighton, since all of the main attractions are close together. It takes around 15 minutes to walk to the centre of town and the apartment could not be closer to the seafront.
There are plenty of bus routes around town and they are very frequent. The number 1 bus goes into central Brighton and the number 7 goes to Brighton station, both roughly every 7 minutes.
Brighton station is a 10-15 minute drive away, with trains to London Victoria, Kings Cross, Gatwick and other cities.
Parking can be difficult in the centre of town. Therefore, we recommend leaving the car in one of the pay and display spaces on the seafront or in a car park and then explore on foot or on public transport.
Bikes can be hired from many points around Brighton and Hove, with the Brighton Bike Share Scheme. There is a fantastic cycle path which stretches all along the seafront from the iconic beach huts in Hove all the way past Brighton Beach and the cliffs of Rottingdean.
Other Things to Note:
- A travel cot and / or highchair can be hired for £20 each for the duration of your stay - please request in advance.
- The house is set over 3 floors so there are stairs to climb.
- Please be aware that rubbish is collected in the area from around 6am - 8am
House Rules:
HOUSE RULES Please take your shoes off when inside the property. Please be considerate to neighbours at all times. Please be considerate to As per the listing: no extra guests, no smoking and no parties please, at all times. Any lost keys and keys not returned to correct location will incur a charge. If a guest locks themselves out during their stay and requires assistance there will be a minimum charge of £25. Unless agreed in advance a late check out will incur a fee of £50 per hour. There will be a fine of £50 for smoking indoors. If there is any sign of a pet having stayed at the property either inside or outside, you may be liable for extra charges.
