Tastefully styled and designed ’upside down’ house in vibrant and historic Kemptown. Boasting a modern finish and elegant touches throughout, including a 4-poster bed to the master, it’s ideally suited for friends & families. The open plan kitchen/dining/living space is sociable yet cosy with a large corner sofa. The spiral staircase leads to a private mezzanine, a quiet space to work or relax. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and private terrace, it’s the perfect place to stay and relax in style
The Space:
Tucked away yet still close to the city centre and the beach, is this charming three bedroom ’upside down’ house with some fantastic features, that sleeps up to 9 guests. The property has been recently renovated and designed to a high spec: it oozes style from top to bottom! Situated just a short stroll from the beach and approximately 25 minutes walk to the city Centre, but still nestled in historic Kemptown.
The first floor is a spectacular and impressive space with a feature brick wall and stylish exposed rafters creating a soaring feature ceiling. A cosy and warm space which is beautifully complimented by the leafy plants and hanging foliage. The stunning dark wood dining table has 2 benches and 2 dining chairs, perfect for coming together to eat.
The lounge is a great social space to relax and unwind and has a large corner sofa which converts in to a king size, super comfortable, double bed. There’s also a wall mounted 50 inch HD Smart TV with SKY TV so you can stream your favourite programmes or films.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay - there’s an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and lots of space for preparing a lunch or dinner for friends or family. Along with plenty of cookware, crockery, glassware and cutlery; there is also plenty of complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, salt and pepper and cooking oil - so you will have the key essentials.
The spiral staircase in the lounge leads up to a quiet and peaceful mezzanine area that’s perfect for working, relaxing or even sleeping.
The double glass doors allow natural light to pour into this space, and lead out onto a private terrace with table and chairs. The perfect space for a drink with friends or meal before taking a stroll along the beach.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
On the ground floor you will find the master bedroom with super-king four poster bed, the twin bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom. Both bedrooms are stylish yet relaxing spaces with plenty of fresh hotel linen and towels for all guests. A further bedroom with double bed and feature ensuite bathroom can be found on the first floor.
We provide plenty of fresh white linen and towels for all guests and there is ample storage for all your clothes and belongings in each of the bedrooms.
A travel cot and / or high chair can be hired for the duration of your stay - please request in advance.
Guest Access:
Guest’s have access to the entire property during their stay.
Interaction with Guests:
The local team at Property Manager are on hand 7 days a week, 10am until 8pm, to ensure you have a great stay.
The Neighborhood:
Just a short walk to the city centre and seconds from seafront, it is a great location for any length of stay. The centre of Brighton with all it’s amazing attractions including great shopping, restaurants and bars, Brighton Pier, the British Airways i360, and Museum and Art Gallery are all close by too.
Close to St James’ Street en route to Kemptown, you’re close to coffee shops, a supermarket, pharmacy and some great pubs.
The Kemptown area of Brighton has a lovely community feel to it. With an array of eateries, bakeries, coffee shops and independent stores, it has always been a vibrant part of Brighton, steeped in history. A wonderful afternoon can be had simply strolling along the main street, stopping for coffee, browsing a book or antiques shop before heading down to the seafront.
Getting Around:
WALKING - From the house you can walk to everything you’ll want to see during your stay - the beach, the i360, restaurants, pubs, cafes, shopping at Churchill Square, independent shops in the North Laine etc.
PARKING - Parking can be difficult and expensive all over central Brighton. If you do need to park, there are pay & display bays in the area (please check local signs), and several car parks.
BUSES - There are numerous buses if you prefer to jump on a bus. They are regular and easy to use and a bus stop can be found at the top of the road, a couple of minutes walk from the house.
TAXI - Taxi companies & UBER operate locally so getting around is nice and easy.
BIKES - All over the city you can hire a social bike and enjoy the cycle path that runs from Hove all the way to Saltdean, it’s beautiful cycling along the coast. You can also park these bikes up securely across the whole city.

For Group bookings all guests must be aged 25 or over - thank you for your co-operation.

House Rules:
- Please take your shoes off when inside the property
- As per the listing: no extra guests, no smoking and no parties please, at all times
- Any lost keys and keys not returned to correct location will incur a charge
- If a guest locks themselves out during their stay and requires assistance there will be a minimum charge of £25
- Unless agreed in advance a late check out will incur a fee of £50 per hour
- There will be a fine of £150 for smoking indoors
- Any sign of pets staying in the house will incur additional fees.
