Villa Butxaco

<p>This spectacular traditional farmhouse sits in the middle of the Mallorcan countryside, halfway between Pollensa Old Town and Port de Pollensa. We initially noticed with Villa Butxaco that every effort had been made to preserve the traditional aspects of this magnificent villa, with beamed ceilings, ancestral furnishings and glimpses of the sandy stone walls. </p> <p>On entering the property you’ll come to the living/dining area, with comfortable seating, flat screen TV and wooden beams. Continue through the stone doorway and you’ll come to the fully equipped kitchen, traditional still with wooden cupboard doors and granite worktops. There’s also an exterior utility room that houses a washing machine. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find three bedrooms, one master double with an ensuite bathroom and two twin rooms that share a separate family bathroom. All bedrooms benefit from free air conditioning, ideal on those warm summer nights. </p> <p>The spacious terrace and gardens really do take centre stage. The refreshing mosaic pool, edged with meander tiles and rounded steps looks so inviting. Chill by the pool under the straw style parasol, traditional to Mallorca, or take some shade under the covered terrace as you enjoy a spot of lunch, cooked fresh on the brick-built BBQ. The garden really is picturesque, filled with evergreen trees and surrounded by a luscious green lawn. There’s also a separate WC situated outdoors with external access only. </p> <p>We recommend a car for Villa Butxaco, but why not make the most of this and take a drive to Pollensa Old Town. Steeped in history and just a short 5 minute drive away, this charming town really is worth a visit. </p> Licence number: ETV/267
