Union Road Schoolhouse presents a unique Paso Robles experience, building on its history as one of the first rural schoolhouses in the Paso Robles area, combined with its re-imagining as an elegant hacienda with dramatic high ceilings, gourmet kitchen, downstairs game and TV room, and three acres of fenced, rural privacy. Original schoolhouse configuration leads to a grand upstairs great room and hallway with original hardwood flooring. To master bedroom suite, featuring a king bed, with outdoor deck access, and en-suite bathroom with soaking tub add a level up in luxury. Three downstairs bedrooms complete the sleeping spaces, with a hall bathroom offering walk-in shower and soaking tub. You’ll find an additional half-bath off game room for added convenience. Outdoor amenities abound, as well, with outdoor pizza oven, BBQ, multiple dining and seating areas, including the charming, shaded gazebo and a brand new spa! Indoor fun includes large flat-screen TV and foosball, along with downstairs wet bar. Stunning kitchen provides many upgraded details, including Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine (bring along your own favorite Nespresso pods!)
Union Schoolhouse, built in 1923 as a local resource for the east-side Paso Robles rural community, was the new, modern schoolhouse at the time. The school welcomed children for their first eight years of education and featured indoor plumbing, two classrooms, a stage for school programs, and large outdoor spaces for baseball and playground. Plenty of private parking in the gated driveway for multiple vehicles. The Schoolhouse has been given a new persona as your elegant, hacienda-style vacation rental. Supplies provided for pickle ball and bocce ball. You never had this much fun at school! (We ask that you remove your shoes when on the upper level, due to the historic wood floors. Reminders are posted in the home.) We are just a few minutes from top-rated wineries on Union Road including Tobin James, Barr, Pear Valley, and dozens of others on Paso’s legendary eastside.
