With a beautiful modern exterior and luxurious interiors, Pranaam Villa is the epitome of a holiday retreat. Located only a few hours away from the city, barely 10 minutes from Mandwa Jetty, this sprawling property is ideal to spend time with your loved ones. Along with cosy outdoor sit-outs for you to enjoy spending time with your friends and family, this villa is also equipped with an open-to-sky shamiana and a private pool. The gorgeous lawn also offers several slides, swings and a trampoline to keep your little ones occupied! To that effect, we provide: - Elevator, generator, AC, WiFi - Wardrobe, hangers - Iron, torch, washing machine, clothes dryer - Geysers, towels, toiletries - Medical kit, mosquito repellent - Indoor games, TV, bar - Secured parking space for up to 6 cars This is a wheelchair-friendly property. The Space: BEDROOMS - There are 6 bedrooms - 2 on the ground floor and 4 on the first floor. - AC, WiFi and attached bathrooms are offered in all rooms. - The family room on the ground floor has a TV also. - 5 rooms have king-size beds and 1 room has a double-king diwan bed. - 3 rooms have attached balconies, however, all rooms offer a garden/pool view. BATHROOMS - There are 8 bathrooms - 6 attached, 1 common washroom and 1 poolside washroom. - All attached bathrooms have geysers, towels, basic toiletries and a separate dressing area. - All bathrooms have a separate wet area, of which two can be converted to a bathtub. COMMON AREAS - There are 2 living areas on the ground floor. - Both offer comfortable seating space for up to 15 people each. - Both are equipped with an AC, TV, music system and WiFi access. - There is a huge dining area, separate from the living room, ideal for big groups to dine together. - This section also features a furnished bar area and a glass facade facing the outdoor spaces of the villa. - There is a meeting room on the first floor. - There are 2 beautifully landscaped lawns - 3500 sq. ft and 2500 sq. ft in size. - The lawns feature multiple nooks for outdoor sit-outs with rattan furniture, comfortable seating and a hammock. - There is an open-to-sky shamiana and umbrellas with cozy sofa seating for up to 20 people, perfect for an outdoor buffet. - There is also a separate section for kids with slides and a trampoline. - A key highlight of the villa is its beautifully designed round-shaped private pool with seating area around it for kids to enjoy. - The pool is 20x30 ft. in size and 4 ft. in depth. KITCHEN - Guests have access to the kitchen only for the purpose of reheating food or preparing infant food. Elaborate meal preparations are not allowed. - Outside chefs/cooks are not allowed. - The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, water purifier and a mixer. - Crockery and cutlery are also available. FOOD - All vegetarian meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost of Rs.2000 per person, per day for adults, and Rs.1100 per person, per day for kids. - Cooking of non-vegetarian food is not allowed, however, consumption is allowed. Guests can order-in from nearby restaurants or use the barbeque grill for non-vegetarian food. Please note, non-vegetarian food is strictly not allowed in the kitchen area. - A barbeque meal can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs.500 per person. - Guests can indulge in the local fare at nearby restaurants, however, please check the timings given the prevalent lockdown rules. GUEST ACCESS - In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. STAFF ACCOMMODATION We are unable to provide accommodation for your personal staff. ACTIVITIES Within the property, guests can enjoy a swim and a relaxing time in the massive swimming pool, while the kids can have their fun around the pool and in the play area. There are several hangout spots in the outdoor section of the house, including a furnished shamiana and a hammock. Guests can also choose to simply unwind at the bar. The villa is perfect for big groups as they can take advantage of dining together indoors and outdoors. The property is spacious and offers several lounge-worthy spots. ADDITIONAL COSTS - The washing machine and clothes dryer can be used at no additional charges for a maximum usage of once a day. HOME TRUTHS While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later! - There are CCTV cameras around the house for security purposes. - In case of a power outage, the inverter can support lights and fans for up to 6 hours, while the 100 KVA generator can support all appliances (including air conditioners) for up to 18 hours. One tank of diesel would be provided, if more than that is required, additional charges would be applicable for the same. - The caretaker stays in the outhouse, within the premises of the property. - WiFi, although it is subject to network availability at any given time. - Mobile networks such as Airtel work fairly well here. - Guests are advised to remain cautious, given the presence of insects around, during the monsoon season. - Owing to monsoons, the road conditions leading up to the villa may be poor. - There is a non-functional jacuzzi at the villa. It is most commonly known for its sea forts, virgin beaches, black sand, mouthwatering seafood and a myriad of adventurous water sports. So, while you’re enjoying your peaceful stay at this property, here are a few nearby places and activities we recommend to make your stay even more memorable. - Relive the history of Kolaba Fort. - Take a calming walk at Alibaug Beach. - Explore a mini detour to Vrindavan Farm. - Embrace the splendour of Murud-Janjira Fort. - Experience the beauty of nature in Kanakeshwar Forest. Getting Around: - Distance from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport - 108 km, 3 hours. - Distance from Mandwa Jetty Port - 6 km, 10 minutes. - Distance from Awas Bus Stand - 3 km. - Distance from Awas Market - 2 km. HOUSE RULES - Loud music is not allowed post 10 pm outdoors. However, there are no time restrictions in playing music indoors. - Alcohol consumption is allowed. - Smoking is allowed only outdoors and in the balcony. - Children should be supervised while they are in or around the pool. - One must wear swimming attire and shower before entering the pool. - Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care. - All male groups (stags) are not allowed. - Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed, however, cooking is not allowed. POLICIES - The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed. - The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking. - Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa. - All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. - All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay. - Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement. - Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted. - A refundable deposit of Rs. 10,000 will be collected. - This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase, the check-out time and all villa rules are adhered to, and no damages are done.
