Come stay at High on Cloud Nine, a beautiful home surrounded by forests near the Blue Ridge Parkway offers seasonal mountain views. This home is under 15 minutes from both Boone and Blowing Rock.
High on Cloud Nine has a few steps to the covered entry on the left. The large entryway inside welcomes you and your guests. Follow the hallway to the right and the living room and kitchen open up. Stainless steel appliances, plentiful counter space, and a large island allow multiple chefs to create a feast. The dining table seats the entire group comfortably, and there are also 4 barstools if you are stopping for a bite. The owner provides both a Keurig and a standard drip coffeemaker, so bring along your favorites of either type!
Between the dining and the living room is the focal point, a see-through gas fireplace made of gorgeous stones stacked to the vaulted ceiling. The living room side has a large screen mounted TV over the mantle and comfortable seating all around. Two sets of double doors lead to the main level deck, which wraps around the home. There are rocking chairs, a porch swing, a gas grill, and a hammock that hangs under a covered section.
Two bedrooms are on the main level. The king suite is a fabulous room with a TV, fan, and deck access next to the hammock. The private bath offers a two seater jetted tub and large tiled shower. The double vanity gives space for each guest to make themselves at home. Near the front entry is the queen bedroom with a TV and fan. In the hallway nearby is a full bath with a tiled combination tub/shower.
The lower level opens to a game area with ping pong, foosball, and large TV mounted for viewing. There is a wet bar and mini fridge to store your drinks or snacks. The third and fourth bedrooms are downstairs, as well. The Queen room has a fan and access to the lower deck. A twin/twin bunk bed and another single twin bed are together in the fourth room, and there is a combination tub/shower located in the hall between the bedrooms.
Outside is a peaceful backyard with a fire pit and chairs. This is accessed through the lower level or by using the stairs near the main level deck at the parking area. Enjoy the beautiful hot tub as well!
