Knotty by Nature (formerly Doodle Ridge) was Custom Built in 2021 and designed for true enjoyment of everything the mountains have to offer! The “mountain modern” décor lends to an extremely comfortable and inviting escape that will be enjoyed by all. There are two fully furnished balconies complete with fireplaces, plus a firepit, all to cozy up to and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Indoors, there are two complete living rooms with fireplaces, plus a game room for the young and young at heart. You will never want to leave!
Main Level
On the front porch, there are two rocking chairs to sit in and enjoy the wildlife and the view. Once you enter the home, you’ll find the main living with an open concept. The family room has plenty of very comfortable seating and a fireplace. There is a smart TV with Hulu live plus all of the streaming options. The dining area is set with a large rustic wooden table which seats 8 guests comfortably and seating for 5 more at the granite countertop in the kitchen. The open kitchen is equipped with brand-new stainless-steel appliances and all the supplies you would need to prepare your family’s meals.
Also on the main floor, you will find a half bathroom with modern accents, a fully equipment laundry room and mud room.
The primary King Suite, located on the main level, features a mounted Smart TV, double granite vanity, large shower with 2 shower heads and an enclosed wash closet. Here you will also find a spacious walk-in closet.
Downstairs
As you walk down the stairs, you will enter the huge lower-level Family Room which also features a Game Room with ping pong and air hockey tables, large couch seating and a fireplace and a beautiful half bathroom. There is also a wet bar complete with wine fridge and sink.
There is an additional large bedroom with full bathroom en suite on this level, identical in size to the primary suite, with a large shower and soaking tub.
Upstairs
At the top of the stairs is the open Loft with more comfortable seating and a view that will allow you a quiet area to relax or get some work done while you listen to the excitement below.
Off the Loft are two Queen Suites, each with a full private bathroom and mounted SmartTV. One Suite also has a twin bunkbed.
Outdoors
Both levels of the house feature expansive decks with both covered and open-air seating to enjoy.
The deck off the main level has a fully equipped BBQ/smoker, as well as a dining table that seats 6, plus a living area in front of the fireplace that seats 6 or more. The Smart TV is mounted above the fireplace.
The deck off the lower level seats four with another fireplace, and plenty of room for yoga on the deck, games and more.
Off the side of the house is the Fire Put which is centered on a stone courtyard with Adirondack-style chairs.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each
HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays. This is strictly enforced.
Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

- Mature, well trained Dogs under 100 lbs. are welcome with an additional rent of $25/night each. Max of 2 pets. NO CATS, due to the homeowner’s allergies.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- This property is monitored by external security cameras, camera 1 is mounted on the right right of trash bin and views the entrance of the driveway. Camera 2 -is a spotlight style camera mounted on the front right corner of the house it monitors the driveway entrance and the path leading to fire pit. Camera 3 - is mounted at the front door upper right corner it monitors the front door, Camera 4 - this camera is located at the top of the garage door, right hand side it monitors the bottom driveway. No cameras monitor the interior of the home or common gathering areas.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
