Skytop Chateau offers breathtaking views from a wall of windows in the great room with woodburning fireplace. Everywhere you turn you will be able to enjoy the majesty of the mountains! The house has 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Two upstairs Queen bedrooms and the main level King master are all ensuites. Downstairs is a bar and game area, plus a bonus room containing 2 double beds and a pull-out sofa for additional guests, and a second woodburning fireplace. Experience the never-ending, long-range views from every window! Watch the skiers on the slopes from the kitchen window.

Chalet is a nicely updated cozy one-bedroom, one bath home, sitting on a two-car oversized garage.
Skytop Chateau at The Summit of Beech is located just minutes away from Beech Mountain Resort, a popular year-round destination for all sorts of outdoor fun. In winter, enjoy world-class skiing and snowboarding; and in warmer months have fun mountain biking down the runs!
Located just a short distance from the home is the Beech Mountain Club where guests can enjoy access to Private Restaurants, Championship Golf, Professional Tennis, and a heated pool to name just a few amenities. Guest passes must be requested and paid for in advance. Additionally, the Buckeye Recreation Center and numerous trout fishing streams are located close by. Guests also enjoy quick access to historic downtown Banner Elk so you can even experience more activities including Horseback Riding, UTV tours, an Alpine Roller Coaster, White Water Rafting and Tubing Trips, Dining, Shopping, and so much more.
-CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Firewood may be purchased with a week’s notice. You will receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarters for $25 plus tax.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains REQUIRED during winter (Nov-March) for all Beech Mountain area homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- The road leading to the home is paved, but the driveway is a 0.2-mile single-lane gravel road that is shared by two properties.
-This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
