One of the great pleasures London affords is its sheer volume of viridescent spaces, but this home goes a step further, claiming south-west London’s prettiest neighbourhood park as its own back garden. With a balcony terrace and well-furnished garden that includes a gate that opens directly onto Wandsworth Common, options for outdoor enjoyment abound. Not to be outdone, the indoor space demands equal praise, where captivating interiors blend masterful design with architectural finesse.
Every element of this home has been expertly rendered to such a degree that all we can say is, good luck picking a favourite spot! The living room is certainly a contender, with its billowing ceiling dripping in crystal chandelier, and that playfully abstract furniture and wall hanging. However, our personal favourite might be the kitchen and dining area which revels in its triumphant octagonal sky light, impeccable marbled kitchen, and sculpted dining table. Sealing the deal, vast Crittal doors open onto the garden and flood the room with light. A theme of beautifully balanced tones and sleek tiles runs through the hallway and bathrooms, whilst the bedrooms pair effervescent wallpaper and unique artwork (plus one handy walk-in wardrobe). A seamless switch in styles greets you in the celestially white bedroom, striking in its luminous interiors and completed by a rather fabulous four-poster bed.
An indulgent pamper session may be forefront as you set eyes on the pristine bathrooms. You know a home means business when even the shower is a work of art. Freshen up in style in either the exquisitely emerald en-suite bathroom or the main family bathroom, a rippled marble masterpiece complete with roll-top tub and mural.
We Love
The location is unbeatable, with the option to stroll straight through the gate into Wandsworth Common, or simply drink in the views from the terrace above. The garden is fully equipped for lounging about on those warmer days, where you can enjoy a few BBQ dinners al fresco...
Home truths:
No smoking, pets or parties! All bedrooms have air conditioning. Please note, two rooms will be locked during your stay. A Sonos music system is available downstairs, while a Smart oven can be found in the kitchen. A dog is one of the family members who usually lives here. Although every property is cleaned to a Property Manager standard, please note this property may not be the best fit for those with allergies. Your own pets are welcome on request. The principal bedroom has access to a private balcony terrace; and the back garden has direct access onto Wandsworth Common via a gate. This home is fully detached and spans three floors.
Please note, Property Manager homes are lived-in homes, which we think adds to their charm! Guests should, however, expect to find homeowner belongings and personal items within the property.
