This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom beach house sits on the hill above Avalon Beach and features a birds’ eye view of the Angophora Reserve and the ocean beyond. Comfortable, relaxed and fanned by ocean breezes, it’s a haven for wildlife, especially birds that will provide the soundtrack to your days and owls that will sing you to sleep. The house is just a 5 minute drive to Avalon village and a short walk to Clareville Beach, with an abundance of ocean beaches nearby. The Space: The upper level is bright and airy with a spacious open-plan living / dining / kitchen space, with timber floorboards, contemporary art, and large windows looking on to a dining deck with BBQ. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, gas cooktop with under-bench oven, a good-sized fridge and Nespresso coffee maker. A timber dining table seats 6 people. The adjoining living area has a comfortable L-shaped sofa, with additional seating and TV. Also on this floor is a large, queen sized bedroom and separate bathroom with a huge, walk-in shower that’s great after a day in the surf. Downstairs, there are 2 more double bedrooms, each with views, a bathroom with over-bath shower, a studio and outdoor laundry. It’s spacious and full of books, objects d’art and games to keep you busy on wet or hot days. Surrounding the house are 3 more decks, including a covered front porch, a large lower deck with lounge furniture and a lower deck at garden level that’s perfect for rolling out your yoga mat. The house is ideal for friends, couples, and those with older children. Pets are welcome, as long as they are kept within view, given the garden is not fenced. Due to the number of stairs and elevated tree top position, it’s not suited to those with access difficulties or young children. The Neighborhood: Avalon Beach on the northern most part of Sydney’s Northern Beaches, on a peninsular with the ocean on one side and Pittwater on the other, with its sheltered beaches and bays. Avalon is a thriving community with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants. There are also great walks and national parks to explore. You can walk into Avalon from the house in about 12 minutes – or take your time via the beautiful Angophora Reserve. You can also walk to Clareville and Paradise Beaches via bush tracks, in about 10 minutes. Getting Around: This house is best suited for guests with a car and free street parking is available. If you prefer public transport, buses do service the area. Other Things to Note: * An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site. * A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately. *If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies. *If you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking. * Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals by Property Manager and is not a hotel. * Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is he case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
