Delight yourself with lovely views and picture-perfect sunrises over West Grand Traverse Bay at this lovely, two-story home! This gorgeous home faces east and sits on a low bluff above the water. It’s also located on a private drive just outside the village of Suttons Bay - it’s a peaceful and secluded location for sure!
Another perk of this location is that is a great area for touring on your bicycle, E-bike, or motorcycle, hiking in the Leelanau Conservancy Preserves. Moonridge Cottage is the last home on the road, with Cherry Orchards stretching over a mile to the north. Suttons Bay is four miles away and has a great sandy beach. Other wonderful attractions include Leelanau Sands Casino & Lodge (within eight miles), Traverse City (15 miles), Leland (within 14 miles), Northport (16.5 miles), Glen Arbor (within 28 miles), and Dune Climb (31.5 miles). There are dozens of wineries, cideries, Hop-Lot Brewery, and great dining within a short drive. Attend the Suttons Bay Art Festival, Vintage Boat show, Leland Wine Festival, Traverse City Film Festival, and National Cherry Festival.
When it comes to outdoor living, this home has it all! From the porch, you can enjoy birds, swans, wood ducks, loons, and an occasional bald eagle. Turkeys frequent the yard as well. You can also hear the bell of the red buoy at the drop-off point, see boats cruise by, and gulls circle and dive for food on the water. Build a fire and sit around the firepit for some storytelling under the beautiful night sky.
Kick your feet up and unwind in the sunny living room, complete with a leather couch that automatically reclines, a wood-burning fireplace, and a smart TV with streaming options, cable, and a DVD player with hundreds of DVDs for you to watch.
