- NOTE: Before you get here, please be aware that we’re at an elevation of 10,000 feet. If you’re coming from sea level, think about spending a night or two at a lower elevation to get acclimated. Altitude sickness is real and serious. Be sure to hydrate lots and limit alcohol and caffeine consumption, as they can make it worse. If you’re not used to the elevation, oxygen cans can be bought at drug stores or sporting goods stores
