To explore Mill Pond, bring your boat and tie it up to the shared dock, or make use of the paddle boat, kayaks, and fishing poles available on-site. With plenty to see and do nearby and a peaceful, fully equipped space to come home to, this 4-bedroom, 2-bath home makes for a leisurely summer vacation on the edge of the Cape!

Recently remodeled inside and out, this cozy 1,800-square-foot family home features lots of windows, sliders to the elevated deck, and bright Cape Cod decor. The unique raised ranch design offers a large downstairs playroom with a Foosball table, sitting area and a second full bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 1 is on this level, and the washer and dryer are ready for use.
On the upstairs level, the kitchen is fully equipped and opens to the dining area and living room. Have coffee at the convenient breakfast counter, or curl up on the couches to watch a Blu-ray movie on the large flat-screen TV. Sliders off of the dining room provide access to the new PVC deck with picnic table and gas grill.
Just down the hall from the living room area are bedrooms 2,3,and 4 along with a full bathroom. The bunk beds in bedroom 4 are sure to create lasting memories for little ones after a day at the beach or the pond!
The well-landscaped property, horseshoe driveway and seashell parking area welcomes you with a Cape Cod feel. There is plenty of parking for guests, and ample outdoor space to throw the ball around, ride bikes, or enjoy a game of horseshoes on the regulation pit.
During the day, enjoy a swim, float on a tube, fish, pedal boat, or take a leisurely kayak ride on Agawam Mill Pond, a fully recreational 150-acre freshwater pond that is easily accessible across the gravel road! At sunset, break out the marshmallows, light the firepit, and talk about the day on the deck while enjoying a beautiful sunset over the pond.

Head to the Cape:
Take a quick 7-minute drive to the Bourne Bridge at the Cape Cod Canal and Mass Maritime Academy. Like striped bass? Drop a line at the Academy or anywhere else along the 7-mile canal. From the bridge it's 30 minutes to Hyannis or Woods Hole Oceanographic Museum. Both destinations have plenty to do and see on their own, and both have ferries available to take you to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket.
From the bridge you'll find beaches in Falmouth and Sandwhich about 20 minutes away. The upper Cape Cod area offers countless attractions that are sure to keep you and your family entertained!
Take a day trip:
If you're looking for a break from the Cape, spend the day in Boston! About 90 minutes from the property. Go to a Red Sox game, ride a swan boat, or take a Duck Tour and learn the history of one of America's oldest cities. Plymouth, MA is a 30-minute ride and offers plenty of its own history. Check out Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower, dine along the harbor, or visit the shops! Swim in the Atlantic at one of the public beaches, or take a whale watching cruise or a fishing charter out of Plymouth. The ferry can even take you to to Provincetown for the day.
Your vacation home is only 1 hour from Providence and Newport, where you'll find beautiful beaches, famous mansions, and an iconic downtown marina. You'll even pass the famous fishing ports of New Bedford and Fall River along the route!
Stay local for the day:
There is no need to go far to keep busy. Wareham has 3 public beaches on the warm Narragansett Bay - all within 10-15 minutes of the property. Scusset Beach State Park is on the Cape Cod Bay and only a 20 minute ride. Go roller-blading, biking, or jogging along the scenic Cape Cod Canal just 7 minutes away. The largest water park in Massachusetts, Water Whiz, is about 5 minutes away along with bumper cars, batting cages, and mini-golf. Speaking of golf, there are 30 public courses within 30 minutes of Agawam Drive!
Wareham has plenty to offer with all the souvenir shops, restaurants, flea markets, fishing spots, and more that you could ask for. Take a ferry ride up the canal, a deep sea fishing trip, or a booze cruise out of Onset harbor located 10 minutes from your vacation home.
