Daybreak Ridge
You don’t always book a breathtaking ski chateau straight out of Beauty and the Beast, but when you do, make it this five-bedroom stunner of a home, sitting at the very top of Daybreak Ridge. This 10,000-square-foot home seamlessly blends the design elements of a medieval French castle with the aesthetic of a grand American ski lodge, offering a truly unforgettable stay.
Tucked into a gorgeous wooded lot right in the center of Beaver Creek’s ski slopes, you can don your skis or snowboard and step out the back door to access the Overshot/Bitterroot Ski trails via your very own Apres room. Ski down to the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, then pop over to Beaver Creek for a snack or a cocktail - all without ever taking your ski boots off. Warm-weather visitors will be just as dazzled, with the private, tree-lined property boasting a huge deck, outdoor fireplace, Gore Range views, and a large, wooded area for the family pup - yes, your furry friends are welcome here too.
Aside from the truly unbeatable location, the home itself is a masterwork in luxury and craftsmanship. Enormous exposed beams, soaring ceilings, Old World-style furniture, spectacular stonework, ornate chandeliers, eight separate gas fireplaces - the list of unique design features goes on. Highlights are abundant and almost too numerous to list. The lower level game room/entertainment area features a mini-kitchen and bar area, pool table, and in-home movie theater with a projector and surround sound. Upstairs, the private in-home office, plus free WiFi, will keep remote workers happy.
Need to relax after a full day on the slopes? No problem - not only do you have a private hot tub at your disposal, but also an in-home spa, complete with a dry sauna, steam room, and massage room and table so that you can book a private masseuse. If you don’t make it to the slopes for the day, the in-home gym means that you won’t have to skip a workout. Mealtime is a breeze with the assistance of the gourmet kitchen, which offers a walk-in pantry, miles of counter tops, high-end appliances, a gas stone pizza oven, and one of two Miele Coffee Systems to keep everyone sufficiently caffeinated. There’s plentiful room to sit down for meals together at several dining tables.
When bedtime calls, five elegant rooms await, all featuring en suite baths and streaming-capable TVs, including a private TV and DVD player tucked into each of four bunks in the bedroom that’s sure to win the kids’ hearts. The expansive primary suite occupies the entire top level and offers a swoon-worthy soaking tub, a private fireplace, and direct access to the hot tub.
No matter if you’ve visiting to ski the slopes, hike the trails, or never leave the house - you’ll never forget your stay at Daybreak Ridge.
