If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, there’s plenty to explore in the surrounding area. Yellowwood State Forest and Brown County State Park offer some of the best hiking opportunities in the region. At the same time, Lake Lemon and Lake Monroe are ideal for boating, fishing, swimming, and water skiing. You’ll also find a range of art galleries and shops nearby, giving you plenty of options to explore. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a beautifully appointed open-concept great room with vaulted ceilings, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, marble concrete countertops, and everything you need to whip up your favorite meals. You can fire up the propane grill on the front deck and enjoy a delicious meal with family and friends. After a long day of exploring, retreat to the luxurious master bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and a full bath on the main level. The hot tub is outside on the deck, providing the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking views. There are two more bedrooms on the second floor, each with stunning views of the surrounding woods. The lower level features a fourth bedroom with bunk beds and a recreation room with a pool table, foosball table, shuffleboard table, and card table. Plenty of seating, a 75" 4K TV, and a propane fireplace provide cozy evenings. Paradise View Log Cabin has you covered if you’re traveling with children. You’ll have access to amenities such as a baby gate, Bumbo seat, child-sized tableware, high chair, infant bathtub, Pack ’n Play, and portable toddler bed. Rural Environment Notice Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Monroe County, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring. These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Monroe County experience! DISCLOSURE: For the property’s safety and security, exterior cameras are installed. PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee. All gas fireplaces are seasonal and available for use from October 1st to April 1st. ALL EVENTS, DAY GUESTS, AND PARTIES ARE PROHIBITED WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. Effective July 1, 2025, the county has raised the innkeepers’ tax from 5% to 8%. Various extra amenities are included, such as access to complimentary streaming services like Disney+, ESPN+, HBO Max, Hulu, Pandora, and Spotify, as well as fiber optic internet. Additionally, guests can enjoy a fire pit, five televisions with Roku, a folding desk, a gazebo, an HDMI computer screen, and both JBL Wi-Fi Bluetooth speakers and portable Bluetooth speakers. This property is monitored by outdoor cameras for security purposes.

At Paradise View Log Cabin, you’ll find over five acres of beautiful woods surrounding this cabin. Take advantage of the resort’s amenities, including a recreation room, firepit, hot tub, and outdoor games.
Enjoy hiking in Yellowwood State Forest and Brown County State Park. Lake Lemon and Lake Monroe are ideal for boating, fishing, swimming, and waterskiing if water is on your mind. There are many art galleries and shops close to the cabin.
Explore the open-concept great room, kitchen, and dining area. There are stainless steel appliances and marble concrete countertops in the fully-equipped kitchen. Use the Keurig coffee maker or grind your beans using the drip coffee maker. Grill your burgers, hot dogs, or whatever you like on the propane grill outside on the front deck. You can stretch your legs in front of the electric fireplace or enjoy the scenery from the windows when it gets chilly. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath on the main level, and the hot tub is right outside on the deck! The main level also features a half bath. There are two more bedrooms on the second floor overlooking the main floor. The second floor also has a full bathroom.
There is a fourth bedroom on the lower level with bunk beds (one full and one twin). There is also a full bath on this level. The recreation room has a pool table, a foosball table, a shuffleboard table, and a card table. Sink into the large couch or recliner when you want to relax. Your favorite show will be on the 75" 4K TV while you relax in front of the propane fireplace.
You can play life-size Jenga, cornhole, and Jumbo Connect 4 outside the walkout basement.
