Stay at our 3 bedroom/2.5 bath townhome and enjoy spectacular views of Engineer Mountain. Perfect for multiple families, the home has 2 living spaces (on different floors) along with an open living space. The deck off the main living space features a hot tub, gas fire table, BBQ Gas grill and great views. The home also features the expected amenities such as WIFI, washer/dryer (laundry detergent provided), 2 car garage and a fully stocked kitchen. All the TVs are Smart and a YouTube subscription is available as well as other streaming services (using your personal login) as well as Dish TV on all TVs except the downstairs living space (Game Room). Located directly across highway 550 from the Purgatory Ski Resort entrance, the home is surrounded by national forest and is only 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less than a 30 minute drive). The home is part of the resort so you have access to free on-demand shuttle service to Purgatory Ski Resort but since it is across the highway you have the privacy and additional space a townhome affords (it’s part of a duplex). At 8,900 feet of elevation, the home is a gateway to an amazing winter playground and also serves as the perfect summer retreat, with a million acres of national forest land at your doorstep offering all your favorite mountain activities. It’s only a 2 minute walk to Twilight Lake for fishing and paddle boarding and as well as Purgatory Flats Trailhead, one of the most scenic hikes in the San Juan Mountains. Horseback riding, jeep trails, an alpine slide, epic mountain biking and the Purgatory Inferno Mountain Coaster are all less than 5 minutes from the home. Bedroom Configuration (Each bedroom has a Smart TV): Master Bedroom - King Ensuite Bath (Main Floor) 2nd Bedroom - King with TV (Downstairs) 3d Bedroom - Bunk Bed (XL Single over Queen) and an XL twin (trundle bed) (Downstairs) This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied. For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
