Our 3,800 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, home is perched above Columbine Lake and boasts mountain views throughout the home. The home sits adjacent to the San Juan National Forest and was completely remodeled in 2022.
Only 2 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort and 25 miles from historic downtown Durango, this home offers forested seclusion and mountain views from almost every window. Enjoy a well appointed gourmet kitchen and comfortable living area with a wood burning fireplace and floor to ceiling windows. The home is perfect for multiple families as it features 3 separate living areas as well as a great bunk room which is the perfect space for the kids to hang out. The home is equipped with super fast Starlink WiFi and YouTube TV (and you can of course access your streaming account as well). Relax and take in the unparalleled views from the large deck plenty of seating, an outdoor dining table and a BBQ grill. The home also features a custom set of lockers with a boot/glove dryer. There is an AC Unit in the master bedroom for those occasional warm summer days.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
